I wrote this poem for Daddy on Fathers'Day. I had fond memories with Daddy when he has still around. And i can't forget all the advices he gave me and all the comforting words he gave me when I'm feeling down and out. It maybe late composing this poem for him, but for sure, his memory will linger in my thoughts and in my heart forever. Why don't we spend some bonding moments while we still can? and treasure those rare moments the best we can with our fathers. DAD, YOU'RE MY NUMBER ONE! I have said this to you, and I'll say it again I'm sorry to have caused you heartaches And I took all the blame. I had misconducts in the past And made some wrong decisions in my life But still you were there and accepted my apologies And again, you enfold me in your loving arms. In my moments of solitude I can feel your warm and soft hands Holding mine and try to reassure me That everything will just turn out right. I know I failed you a lot of times And being disobedient to your words of advice But you never turn your back and left my side, Dad Through the good times and in bad. Before you closed your eyes You prayed I will have a family of my own Sorry Dad, for it didn't happen Until now, I'm living by myself all alone. You told me to settle down With someone that I truly love And most of all,never to forget Put God always at the center of your lives. Thank you so much Dad For all those gospel words By trying to put sense in my head Every time the going gets rough. Rest assured your thoughts are remembered I am your daughter who loved you dearly And I'm still missing you a lot, Dad Even to this very day. I missed you Dad, since the day you leftr Your best wishes for me They're still in my heart and in my head And because of these,I owe you my life I will be grateful forever to be your daughter And for having you, and being MY NUMBER ONE, DAD!
