While I understand having bigger numbers are always better, do you think MyLot should purge the many members that haven't even posted or commented once? Let's just say for over a year. This way, they can come to a true number of members. What are your thoughts?

Maybe MyLot should send a "reminder" e-mail to say that they miss them! And I should get a cut of the profit if they do come back!

If they sent a reminder it might wake up some sleeping inactive referrals too!

its good to send reminders, but i have heard my friends saying that a lot of inactive members in a site without being deleted will make that site run really slow even to the worst condition..........

Like the previous members stated, there may be many reasons why some people aren't inactive for a long period of time here on mylot. I was actually one of those people until a few months ago and I'm really glad that mylot didn't delete my account. It would have been a pain to start another one. On the other hand, one year is a decent amount of time and if the person has not even contributed one single response or discussion then it probably should be taken into consideration. But either way is fine with me. I don't think it's that big of a deal.

They could naturally join back up i they wanted to. I too was away from MyLot for a while. Now I'm here until the next time I get busy and can't do it as often. Thanks for the comment.

When I created a task there were many, many users with 0 posts who completed it which leads me to believe that many of the users here are here only for tasks and though they may appear to be inactive to us, they might just well be earning more than those who stick with the discussions. As the response above said, there could be many reasons why they are not posting but I do not agree with removing their accounts at all

I think there are many that are here to earn a buck or two. That's what initially got me here. I never heard for this site before. Now it is a time killer for me while doing some posting and commenting.
