What do you use or apply to your acne?

Acne is common to everybody. It is normally occurs as puberty begins. It is a skin disorder that can be caused from stress, lack of sleep, lack of water, genetics and/or bacteria. What is the most effective cream or ointment for you? How did you learn about that? Who introduced that to you? Is it prescribed by your dermatologist or just word of mouth? Do you put any medication in your pimple or pimples or you just let it heal and dry on its own?

My sister has pimples before. She used a lot of cream and ointment but it never worked on her. She was invited by a friend to have facial one time. She had several visits before those were gone. Also, she have used creams that they were selling. Try to visit the "Let's Face it" shop in your area for this. Personally, i have pimples at times too. They grown on top of my nose usually. What i usually do is pinch it manually and put Eskinol cleanser on it. Use a cotton til the cotton dries up. Then, I'll put Nivea cream on it. It will gone then, overnight. A close friend of mine uses Bioderm soap for her face and follow it with Bioderm ointent after. This ointment is menthol so it helps soothes the pimple. Only that, it shows peeling of the skin on the area wherein you have put it. So you have to put a cream on that part. She uses Nivea too. Hope this can help. yan

- When you first choose an acne product, only use the cleanser initially or your body may 'react' to the sudden use of more than one product all at once. If you don't do this, you may aggravate your acne condition for a number of days.If you have acne along your hairline or on your forehead. This type of acne is due to a build up of fatty acids. for more details check If you have acne along your hairline or on your forehead. This type of acne is due to a build up of fatty acids.

hello mrnischalgurung! What a new information you provided -fatty acid if along your hairline or on your forehead - thanks for a great advice! Just to add on, it can be also a cause of allergic reaction from new shampoo -- got that information from my dermatologist.

My husband has Acne. We usually wash his face and put a cream on that is supposed to reduce scars in four hours. I can't remember what it's called, but I will put that on his face and it works wonders! It can be bought in a store!

Wow hearing your story made me feel curious about that cream... Do you really mean, that cream can reduce the scarring or it somehow erase the scars that is already there in "four hours"? It is good that it is available in stores...

hi shibham! Thank you for sharing! It is good to know that you don't have pimples! Honestly, I don't know about that turmaric... and I guess it is not available too in my country. It is good to know different creams that are effective to different people. Thank you!
