every term i would be absent form class... sometimes because i have something important to deal with or i am ill, but more times i feel the class is so boring and you cannot learn anything, so i would choose self-learning...

intentionally, im not. as i remember i got absences when i feel sick or out of allowances. my determination to finish my studies is the good motivation i have and reach the vision to have a stable job.

good student, but there's always some class i really not interested in,and it maybe useless for my future ideal job, though i went to go to the class,i learn nothing,it's just a waste of time,so i'd rather choose to learn something at dorm.

Of course, everyone has to absent in class at some point in their life. When I was a kid in elementary, I was absent for 2 weeks because I had typhoid fever. Same thing happened when I got chicken pox for almost 2 weeks. Of course, sickness is the main cause for my absence.

was time ago, when I was in college, I rarely and do not want to miss (absent) in the classroom. This I do because my tuition is very expensive and I have to meet the costs themselves, did not ask for money in college on my parents .... but, maybe if my tuition comes from parents, maybe I am pleased also absent in the classroom

nearly every college student was absent once in a while.there may be several reasons for this matter.Firstly, every one has the time that something urgent happen, such as some disease or some old friends visit you suddenly.secondly, some classes are so boring that it is a waste of time to listen to them.studying by yourself can be more efficient sometimes. However, some students skip classes too often without any reasonable causes, they are unforgivable.

yeah,i agree with you, maybe i belongs to the second, some class really boring,i can hardly pay my attention to the class,so it's better to learn something you interested in rather than waste time there.

yeah, im guilty of that. committing absences. and i think its pretty normal when on classes. normal depends on reasons too. like when u sometimes feel lazy to go to school coz u are havin fun on something like computer and you feel like ohhh i dont wanna stand up here and go to school....and that is kinda normal to me hehe. what a bad student i used to be.. but anyhow, having absences in class happens to almost all students..those who made it perfect on their teachers record...ahhh they just deserve a round of applause :)

Yes, when I enjoyed playing computer games along with my friends. I sometimes forget the time and the next thing I know is that I'm already 1 hour late. By then, I wont get to the class. That happens everytime in my experience.

yes, several times.. since i have to concentrate on working and studying, fortunately i never had a bad mark and my lecturer could understand about my situation also. but i suggest: "kids, don't try this at school.." (^_^)

So far, I haven't been absent (but I've been marked absent once since I forgot to say I was late).... It's because some teachers give extra credits to those who have perfect attendance.
