We now use Olive Oil for our oil, most of the time. The only time we don't use Olive Oil is if we are creating something that we don't want the taste to come through so we will go with veg oil instead.

Hi srija , It is good to reduce the quantity of oil in the food we eat. Better to switch on to ovens instead of gas stoves. I use the goldwinner sunflower oil. It is good because my mother also used this for cooking.

I think it would be olive oil. It has low saturated fat and high monounsaturated fat which lowers the fat in the blood and lowers LDL cholesterol. It also has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties too as well as vitamins E and K. I guess that is why most cooking shows uses this with their recipes.

no oil is healthy or effective. however, vegetable oil is relatively healthier compared to animal oils. the best way is to use very less oil when cooking. all types of oil are fats.
