Which Internet Security suite is the best as of 2009?

It's been a while since I had trouble with my antivirus/internet security suite. All this time I was using Kaspersky 2009, which showed a decent role in removing the viruses, keeping my PC protected and maintaining a good overall speed, though at times, it does let me down, when it comes to speed. Ever since I upgraded to Kaspersky Internet Security 2010, I've been having a hard time. It takes minutes for the browsers to open, programs lag behind, and even worse, I am unable to open a folder even, most of the times. It gave me no choice, but to change the Security suite. Hence I changed to Norton Internet Security 2010, which as of now, is showing pretty good results. It indeed uses less system resources and detects viruses pretty well. However, Norton deleted some of the files that Kaspersky did not consider malicious, and some documents I use for work and that really irritated me. What could I possibly do to prevent this? What do you think is the best Internet Security Suite?

you can always store your work on a cd,flash drive, or external hard drive. or get a inexpensive netbook so your work on that just don't put norton on it.

I do agree to that, but then I did have problems with the speed, since I am an engineering student and I use heavy programs alot.

Well every Secuirty suite has some different features from another one.If all Internet Security suites offer same kind of protection and services, then there will be no difference left between them. But as of now Norton Internet Security 2010 and Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 are the best one to choose from. Both offer same kind of protection and features. But i agree with you that Kaspersky 2010 is giving some problem while opening sites. I'm currently using it along with Microsoft Security Essentials. But now even i think that i had to change my primary Security Suite and use Norton. Also, you can try Symantec EndPoint protection. Its also good anti-virus with other features too.
