Not a week goes by that a child or female are either kidnapped, missing or found dead. I just don't understand what is going on in this world today. Are there that many people losing their minds? Why is this continuing to happen each and every week? This week alone there was one little 2 year old girl taken by her Father after he beat her mother up. This happened in Maine. She has since been found alive and the father was arrested. Then there is a 5 year old Shaniya Davis taken from her Trailer home in North Carolina. They have arrested the guy who kidnapped her but he is not saying where the poor little girl is. Then in Oregon a 31 year old mother of 2, Jayme Austin went missing after she went to her moms house two doors away from her place to take a shower. She was having water problems. Her mom was at work. She had called her boss to say she would be late. The boss calls the mom hours later to tell her Jayme never showed up. The mom went home and found that her daughter had taken a shower, there was water all over the bathroom floor and run the daughter was not around. That is because she was killed and found buried in a gravesite. The brother-in-law has been arrested. When is this war on our children and females going to stop? How much more are we going to accept this horrible behavior? What can we do to stop this war?

Hi lelin, Happens in Spain too a lot more than People would believe Acid attacks on Women you name it it happens here. I know Spain is a Tourist Country but the permanent People live here and witness this there is not one Day that goes by without something like this happening. Criminals are more protected than the victims more times than you could believe. Not so long back a trusted Doctor killed his Girlfriend and tried to say that he had just gone mad for half an hour and another one who is a Policeman has killed his girlfriend and says well she just vanished. People in trusted Positions of Authority are doing things like this and think they can get away with it. Where I come from there is a motto which I always hold to "Out of Darkness Cometh Light".

I didn't know things like this happened in Spain with the Acid Attacks. I thought that happened mostly in the muslim communities. Everyday attacks like that is horrible. I agree with you that the laws protect the criminal and the victims have no rights at all. What a shame that the world has become this. Thank you for responding.

Hi lelin, Just about the same as anywhere else I think. Where you least suspect things like this are happening all over the World. Fortunately there are more good things than bad it´s just that we never get to here about them. Hey there are a lot of good things and good People in Spain lol. I suppose NewsReaders don´t buy into reading good News.

Its just not right that this abuse keeps happening. Its men who think they can do whatever they want to, to kids or females. That mucho ego that they are the rulers of the world. They don't realize if women were in charge the world would be a better place to live. What do little girl know about equity anyway?

You are right no one deserves this. I don't understand how people have these horrible disgusting "minds". I just think the laws need to change to protect our children and the female polulation. Thank you for responding.

There is alot of very sick folks out there, soooo sad. I think people need to be more aware of thes problem & keep a close eye on their children for one thing.

I wish people would be more aware so this doesn't happen again. I believe people think this can't happen to them but its happening all around us. Thank you for your response.

I am not sure there is any increase in this, I think it is just a byproduct of our mass communication. Before when these things happened they were known only to the local people from the newspaper unless the people involved were famous, now the world knows. Until we give value and respect to all human life this will continue. However soon I think it will again become only a local issue, the public soon becomes jaded and shows less and less interest in a subject which they feel is very common.

I believe there is a definite increase. When I was 20 years old and living in New York, which is now 32 years ago. I would buy the Daily News and it was a shock to see someone was killed, however it was usually a male that was killed. Even then it was not a weekly thing or for that matter not even a monthly thing. It was shocking and scary all at the same time back then. Now its mostly children and females being killed at an alarming rate. Here in New Mexico the authorities uncovered a mass burial area where someone killed 11 females, in Cleveland, Ohio this guy killed 11 females and they were found in his house and some were buried in the backyard. These are just two stories I know of but I'm sure there are many more. There is for sure an increase and its just getting worse in my opinion. Thank you so much for responding.

Well it is a cruel world out there. The law of the jungle has returned because the framework of law and order has broken down in most countries. The principle of the law that a person is innocent unless proven guilty still holds sway. In many cases, we know that a person on trial is guilty but he gets off technically and roams the street to search for other victims to prey upon.As for those near and supposedly dear that prey on young kids of relatives, they are really sick in the head and should be institutionalized or jailed!

You are so right and its just sickening that its aloud to continue. Its like the court system from the judge to the jury don't care about the victims. Thanks for responding.
