You know we all have changed numbers quite a few times in our lives. Many, for different reasons. Sometimes our number can be changed many times than usual. But there are many people that keep their same number for many years. I know of many people that do. My number has been changed because of annoying phone calls and prank phone calls. For me to have the same number would be fantastic. So, how long have you had your telephone number? I have has mines for up to a year for every place that I have moved to. Please share your answers.

That is great that you were able to do that. Giving your new phone number out over and over can be very annoying..

hi cream97 good to hear from you. I have had this phone number now for three months and am so sick of dashing,or in my case limping across the room to answer it and its another telemarketer. Almost wish I had an unlisted number. this is so annoying. Someone wants to know if I want to sell my time share or update my auto insurance. well first of all I do not have a timeshare, secondly I do not own a car. or update my credit cards, which I do not have. once in a month not so bad,but every dammed day it just fries me to a crisp. I put the phone in so i would not have to use the one payphone that is there for all 90 of us to use. I did not want annoying telemarketers making me limp across the room to listen to their garbage. grrr. sorry for the rant.

That's alright, Hatley. I feel the same as you do too. I hate it when telemarketers call. Especially when someone else used to have my old number.. That makes me so angry to have to receive phone calls from people that I did not ask about...

Hello cream. We have had our home telephone number for more than a decade. We have never thought of changing it for any reason. It is good that our friends and relatives all know that number that we have been using and it is convenient for both of us to contact each other through the known home telephone number.

It depends on what phone number your talking about, I've had my same cellphone number for 6 yrs now, and I've changed providers once, but they just carried my number over to their system. My landline number hasn't been changed for twenty years or so, it's been the same number for that long here, we live in my husband's parents home and he said they've had that same number for as long as he can remember, the house has been here for about 25 yrs.

I have had my telephone # for nearly 6 years now. I really want to get Magicjack, but, in order to do so I would have to change my phone # and I don't want to do that. The longest I've had any telephone # was for 7 years. I'm not very fond of change. Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija

Well, I have had the same Cell Phone number now for close to 6 yrs. or more, and it is actually quite nice to have the same number so you never have to go giving it out all of the time. But since we just moved to our new home a little over 2 months ago, most everyone who calls us is long distance even though we live right next door to them. But if we had a home phone it would be long distance for both of us to call work, so for us having a Cell works the best.

Hi cream, we have been using the same home telephone since the first day it was fixed. Therefore we use the same phone number for decades of years. Due to the tremendous increase of local users the land phone company has made a minor revision in the phone number. The first 3 number was changed from 805 to 808 whereas the last 4 numbers were remained the same. This means that the lines using have increase from 8050 000 to 8080 000. Yeah, increase at least 30 thousand lines, so that more new users can enjoy using the facility of land phone as well! Though sometimes we will receive undesirable calls from some strangers, we still insist to use the same phone number. Yeah, my husband hates to take the trouble to take the trouble to inform his relatives, friend and customers as well. Fortunate that nowadays we don't receive such disgusting call anymore Happy posting

Hiya cream. I've had the same home phone number for the past 14 years. It's as long as I've been at my current home. I haven't changed it in all the years that I've been here. I don't see the need to anyway seeing as I use my home phone to connect to the Internet (yep, I'm one of the few that is still on dial-up ). As I use it mainly for that reason no one can ever get through with that number, not even the telemarketers! LOL Happy mylotting!

We have had our home telephone for about 3 years and to honest I have not used this phone even once. That is serious cause we basically just use our cellphones and skype. So having the home phone is really just a waste.
