I once planned to donate blood when I was a college stuent about six years ago. Our shcool appealed us to donate blood and I was one of them that answered the call. I passed the physical examination without any troubles. It was kind of exciting. I waited in the queue. When it came to me, the doctor told me she was sorry they didn't need type B any more because the type B blood bank was full then. I felt so disappointed. But they gave me a small heart-shaped gift with a character B printed on as the consolation. After graduation from school. My life became very busy and I ofen felt worn out. I'm afraid the blood donation will affect my working effience. So up until now, I haven't donated blood yet.

At least you came forward to donate blood once. That is a great thing, as for me, I am under aged, so I cannot donate blood

Yes, I have donated blood before and none after that. Our blood banks need blood for their supply and for those who need it. I feel good after I donated blood because I felt that I was doing something good for those who might need it. My son is regularly donating blood. He always goes to these blood-letting events and have his blood extracted. He does not worry about being extracted blood because the body has the natural tendency to replenish it.

I think it is a wonderful experience though you feel faint for a little while, ultimately it feels great to be able to do a little something for others. I have done it a few times and would do it willingly every time I am asked to, but it has to be properly done and properly preserved. It is often that roadside camps gather a lot of blood which is not properly stored and gets wasted.I am unwilling to donate in such camps but would do it when properly in a clinic or a hospital and kept in a proper blood bank.

Yes i donate blood as donating blood is serving the human, so I donate blood after every 5-6 months, also donating blood does no harm to our body so it is a good practice to donate blood. It saves the life of people which gives me a satisfaction that I did something for humanity.

Oh i donated blood a month ago. Because my friend please me to do it, and i'm willing so save people lives. Well it was a memorable experience then, A big gauge of needle that goes in to your skin just to get blood is really a sccray thing. It took 5 minutes to 10 minutes to take my blood. Hmmm after taking your blood you should rest a bit, for 10minutes and i didnt do that. I stood up and walked around, then i actually fainted. And my friends got panic, because they don't know what to do. lol. after few minutes i woke up, and asking where i was? And they just laughed at me.

hi,apples! I have donated my blood just for once.I felt thirsty when I had exported 200cc blood, the nurse stopped it after I told her about it.when I got home ,I felt a little faint.but I thoutht it just because I was a little nervous.sure enough,I felt better after lying in bed for a while.I believe it's no a big deal to donate 300cc or 400cc for a health man or woman.and if no one were willing to donate blood,a number of people would die of the shortage of blood resource.what a pity!I think I will donate once again some time later. have a nice day!
