people who work online for earning money would spend more time in front of the personal computers with our eyes wide open as if you close ur eyes we might miss some dollars within seconds.so spending long time i front of pc would increase strain on youe eyes obvoiusly led to increase in youe eye sight for which u got to wear glasses. it is said using anti-glares and winking ur eyes more often would help you to reduce the starin on eyes.do you use those in ur home. so wat is the best remedy to avoid the strain on your eyes so that we avoid increase in our eye sight.

Hi sunny, i read an article about taking care of our eyes. what struck me is to look at something green once we feel that our eyes is already tired. i think after every two hours of continuous computer work we need to stare to something GREEN, a plant or anyting green to recharge and relax our vision.

You should use anti-glares or buy glasses not recommended ones though. Glasses helps prevent radiation from hitting your eyes directly.

I think resting your eyes once in a while would be good for you. That's what I do, I usually take a few minutes after doing something on net to rest my eyes. I rest them by looking out the window to the farthest I could see afterwhich I'd just close my eyes for a few minutes.

Yes, I do think it would be a good idea to adjust the brightness of the computer monitor so it doesn't strain your eyes. I try to not spend so much time looking at the screen and look away from it at moderate intervals.

Turn your eyes every 2 hours when you stared the computer, and look the further green trees and drop some eyedrop water to your eyes to drive tired.I often use the two ways to protect my eyes. Just try it, hope it will be helpful.

you have to rest your eyes. it doesn't mean that you will miss some dollars if you take a break from a long hours stay infront of the computers. infact, i'm afraid if you don't take any rest because you will loose more dollars when your eyes got strain or irritated. tendency is that you'll wear eyeglasses, and that's for life..not just that, you might acquire more stresses and other pains. also, why not put a monitor screen or filters?

Well, definately resting your eyes is a Good thing we need to do when spending a lot of time sitting in front of a Computer. I usually will go find other things to do after being here on a Computer, especially in myLot after 2-3 hrs. Even if it is only a short 10-15 mins. away from the Computer to rest your eyes is a Good thing and the money can wait or Emails, etc. There is nothing so important you really need to be online 24/7 for, and in the end it is a lot cheaper than having to wear glasses or needing Eye surgery, etc. as well.

Hi there and smile. I always use computers. I work 8 hours using computers so i expect that my eyes really suffers a lot. Sometimes my eyes hurts that i need to get my eyeglasses before i start to work. To lessen the eye strain, i always stop and do eye exercises or i will just close my eyes for 3 minutes. I dont want to get a lot of eye strain because it leads to headache. When you get headache you cant continue finishing all work deadlines anymore and limited mylot discussions too. Happy mylotting.

The best way is to close your eyes, well not permanently but just for a few minutes. It helps the eyes get some rest. Also splashing water lightly on your eyes can decrease the strain. I do these things sometimes.

[well, to reduce eyestrain from prolong use of computer you can adjust the brigthness, contrast and color/CRT of your monitor, minimize any reflection, control any ambient light, must have a comfortable viewing distance from your monitor and use monitor filter or just rest and massage your eyes..

The only remedy I know is for you to rest your eyes every once in a while. You may miss a dollar but it would cost more if you come to a point that you'd be needing to wear glasses.

Interesting. The best rememdy I know is to rest frequently and not be on the computer or wear glasses so much when on the computer. Nope don't wear glasses not yet and hope I don't. They have these weird glasses with tiny holes in them to help your eye sight. I forgot what they were called but they help increase your sight. Might want to try that if you can figure out what those glasses are called.
