I am doing a craft sale this weekend at our local mall. Friday I set up my booth...and I bring two folding lawn chairs...one for me and one for company I get that come to keep me company or give me breaks. Well there was a little slow time and I was crocheting bottle totes and I leaned over to get the sissors out of my crocheting bag when the chair collapsed! There I was half laying, half stuck between the chair which broke into pieces and part of it was on my back.......I had one heck of a time getting out of the mess. There were people standing all around..I was sooooo embarassed! LOL....have you had any embarassing moments lately?

Jill, First of all I hope you are Ok. and secondly, did anyone lend you a hand or just stand around gawking? Let's face it, we've all had embarrassing moments, some worse and some less. Thank goodness the embarrassment goes away quickly. Hugs Leenie

I hope someone did help. But you know how people are today. scared of everything and not wanting to touch. Me I will help I feel God will take care of me. You have a great day. But yes I was wondering the samething.

Hope you didn't hurt youself. Guess you will know by tomorrow if you wake up stiff. Not lately but after I had a bad accident, about 6 years ago, I couldn't remember certain words. Would be talking to our kids and forget a simple word such as shoe or coat. I was so embarrassed because my mind couldn't retrieve it. In time, I began to remember certain words and also stopped repeating myself. Can't remember a time something happened in public that made me feel embarrassed.

Am completely recovered now. It did take a year or so to get my life back in order. That's what I get for trying to do a backflip on the ice..lol Don't blame you for trashing that chair. Hope you aren't sore from the fall.

Not like that one. Just silly things like using the wrong word or tripping or something. I guess the chair didn't survive, but I hope you are OK!

OMG, I would have been so red in the face. But, I would have made light of the moment by saying how poorly things were constructed these days! Good thing that nothing more than your pride was damaged. How did you do with the sale? The more I read about your doing sales like this the more I am encouraged to take up my crafts again. Big huggers to you!

he he he,,,that was embarrassing Jill. For me , was I slipped because my shoes was slippery when wet, so down I went my arms flailing high in the air, my legs splitting and I had difficulty trying to put my skirt in place lest they'll see more that what they're entitled to see...lol...luckily, I survived. One time was also when i was alighting from a van, I miss a step and down i went into the pavement. God, I really rolled over and it must have looked funny because I rolled like a ball...he he he...I'm just thankful that all I came out with is my hurt pride... All the best and cheers. What does not kill us will make us stronger.

That's quite embarrassing and I had moments like that too. But let's just be thankful that nothing serious happened to us especially in what happened to you. You could have broke your spine. Whew. If I'm one of the people who have seen you stumble down I wouldn't laugh at you. I will even try to help you get up. As you see not all people will just try to laugh at you. They're watching you maybe because they're also concern with you. Thinking of that may minimize our embarrassments. shadow41
