Just at the height of his career, rapper Lil Wayne has been sentenced to serve one year in jail after pleading guilty to gun charges stemming from 2006. This could not have happened at a worse time for Lil Wayne, who has been the highest selling rapper this year. Do you think Lil Wayne will be able to maintain his poluarity and release more top selling albums once he is out?

yes he will easily maintain his status on the rapper chain he beats almost any other rapper in sales he is so much more successful than anyone else and just cause he is in jail does not mean that record labels wont remix his songs and make songs with his raps in it but slap a new title on the song, even though hes in jail he is still gunna be making money whether or not hes in there, he probably will get out sooner than a year prolly 8 months cuz thats what i heard he was sentenced to.
