Do you think we are in another depression economically speaking?

Do you even know how a depression is defined? We're not even close to a depression at the moment.

actually an economic depression is defined as a period during which business, employment, and stock-market values decline severely or remain at a very low level of activity. I do realize some things are on the rise (slowly) but in comparison to 6 or 7 years ago we are lower. Also, not to be rude but my post was only a question intended to spark a discussion. Not to have mean people attempt to demean me. I actually did not express how I felt... I just asked how you felt. Thanks for not contributing to the positive discussion atmosphere I have always enjoyed at mylot.

Well I do know that the economy is not doing well right now....thanks to Pres. Bush.

I agree totally. He is contstantly cutting benefits and robbing innocent people of money due to them. Hopefully the fact that the Democrats took over will help.
