What would you like to achieve as a senator of your country?

What would you like to achieve in one year if given a chance to become a senator of your country? I'd probably go for creating and pursuing a law where all government employees should be assessed on a year-to-year basis with regards to their performance. If proven that they don't perform well, they should be stripped of their jobs and could not re-apply for 2years. Similarly, I would recommend to the President that there should be a proper deciding body that would look into the matter because most of the government employees now-a-days are either corrupt, too lazy (because they can't seem to function well when it's almost quitting time), and are too confident about their jobs thus performance are not satisfactory. Not to mention that these people are being paid by our taxes. Further, that there be only one person per family to be employed by the government. And not the whole family or the clan. Those who are performing well, and are not taking the job for granted need not worry. This is because I was ticked today by a government employee who doesn't deserve to be an employee because she was not doing her job efficiently. Instead of finishing the task, she was chitchatting the whole time and was even rude enough when I complained of her slow pace. What about you?
