Every Christmas this question will pop-up in my mind."What kind of Christimas gift that I would love to receive?"New Shoes?mmm...maybe.....!New clothing....Ah ha!More money? It sounds good but no....yes...maybe...oh! I don't know. The final answer for my own qusetion is "I don't know!"Since Christmas 2009 is coming and we may probably starting to get busy for this great season. We will shop around and try to find something good for our freinds and relatives in Christmas, but what about our own?I don't think we will always get what we want in Christmas but it may be a good idea to think of one for ourselves. At least you may know what you want in this Christmas(even though you may end up get something so diifferent from your own expexctation)or(maybe end up gets nothing for some people). But this self-awareness process maybe interesting after you really spend time to think about it.I hope everyone can get their "dream gift"in Christmas time and now it's your turn to tell me what you want for Christmas 2009 now!

Say whatsoever if you ask me hundred times as to what I would like to have my Christmas gift I would say "give me your trust and love". and that is the greatest of all the material gifts.

Krajibg, thank you for your response.Ah ha,it sounds like you want trust and love as a gift more than anyone else.Although I am not sure why you will particularly looking for these as a Christmas gift but I do recommend a friend who will always trust you (even He was betrayed by one of his disciple))and who will love you all the times. He is the star of Christmas and His name is Jesus.I am not talking about religion since religion cannot save anyone.I am talking about my ife experience and life experiences of many who has accepted Jesus as their own personal saviour and see changes (and sometimes miracles) happen in their life.May you receive this special gift in this Christmas and you will experience trust and love in a new way. God bless you and Merry Christmas to you ^_^.

personally I dont really want any kind of material gift to be honest spending money at xmas is not needed in my opinion. The best gift for me is seeing my family and the health of me and my kids. Don't really go for all this spending loads of money on cards and presents. Christmas is for having fun and for the family in my opinion the present side of it is more of a bonus.

Benny, thank you for your comment.I agree with you that we don't actually need to spend lots of money to purchase material gift in Christmas time.As you have indicated, family and health are the best gifts for your family.I think we are not a kid anymore and we will not think like a kid anymore(If there won't be any gift for me,then I won't be happy in Christmas...)Yes,you are right, you alreay have a great gift that money cannot buy.And knowing Christ Jesus will always be the best gift of Christmas, because if there is no Christ, there won't be any Christmas.May God bless you and your family in the days to come.Merry Christmas^_^.

Christmas has been transformed by marketing corporations into a capitalist money generating season. To be honest, as people who live in Western nations, if we redirected all our Christmas expenditure, we could resolve so many problems. Sure some kids in rich nations will suffer by not having toys for a year, but are there not children in Africa that go without the fundamentals of life like food, education, heating, sanitation daily? We instead focus on things such as climate change, and other trivial pursuits relatively speaking, instead we should for perhaps one year, just divert all that expenditure for a single cause, whether that be for the economic development of third world countries so that they are self sufficient, or finding a cure for cancer or something that has a tangible benefit. Instead your parents will buy you an Ipod or a new Barbie doll set, large portions of it will be directed at factories in China, and the money will remain in a wealthy country.

Yourankkanfriend : Thank you for your response. You have a point in here.Christmas shouldn't be a season to spend money. But the merchants will surely use this season to make money for themselves. There are many needs in this world today that we can all do something to assist in the solution of alal these problems. We may not be able to save the world since Jesus is the saviour of the world, but at least we can do our part to make the world a better place to live.I hope our next generation will raise up in a better world but not a world that is full of violence, pollution, hatre and broken hearted problems.Anyway,God bless you and Merry Chriatmas ^_^
