Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time.....

As I was putting the colour on my hair today some of it trickled down to my eyebrow and I thought, "Coloured eyebrows would be fun....."(The stuff I use has no nasty chemicals) I thought I'd just leave it for about 10minutes for a subtle tint so, a quick game or two (or maybe more)of solitaire on facebook later... & I completely forgot about it. It wasn't until I was washing it out of my hair (what...about 90minutes later) & I faced the bathroom mirror....ooops. Now, the lavender I could have probably got away with but, it had to be the turquoise. It probably doesn't really show as much as I think....because I know its there.... no-one else will notice... So, what colour do you think I should do them next time?

yeah.. I had thought that since having my eyebrows waxed was so easy I'd get my bikini area done too... lets just say it didn't go as originally planned....

Well, its sort of reddish brown with streaks of cerise, turquoise and peacock blue at the moment (not anywhere near as outrageous as it sounds because its mainly brownish....) I tend to put the turquoise underneath-ish so it isn't obvious when I tie my hair back for work.

It sounds like you probably could've made a damn fine Wife for a circus clown somewhere Wizzy! Apparently "shite tainted aubergine" is being touted as the new black for next season, so I'd look at something along these lines next time. What a shame you didn't let the run off travel south even further. You may have been able to show off a funky, punk-themed Pepe Le Pew look if you had of.

No, I wouldn't...I couldn't take the competition As you well know, I'll have no truck with the fashionista so I shall do everything in my power to avoid "shite tainted aubergine"... actually, that could involve giving up the day job And, I am certainly not about to be flashing my Pepe Le Pew around no matter what colour it might turn!!! What kind of a woman do you think I am???? (I could live to regret asking someone like you a question like that couldn't I ?)

Purple, definitely purple. But I have no bias there, really...

Yeah, I'd favour purple too... then they'd match most of my clothes. people ask me if I colour my hair to match my uniform - I tell them I took the job so I could have a uniform to match my hair!

Hi wizzywig, I'm sure people will notice you've gone turquoise and be too polite to mention it. I had an experience 3 years ago when one side of my hair went a shade of blue through using a colour. The hairdresser corrected it for me and since that day I haven't gone near it with a colour. The irony is there was never any need to colour it in the first place as the natural colour turned out to be better. Whatever you do though don't remove the eyebrows

There is no way I would remove my eyebrows!! If I did, I'd be surprised.... but no-one would know!! It always used to make me laugh that people would pluck out their eyebrows and then draw them back on It would be like shaving off all your hair and then sticking your head in a tin of brown paint...

This sounds like me. I would forget my head sometimes if it wasn't attached to my neck. I don't know if it has to do with age, ditziness, or what? I forget where I put things. I will be looking for my glasses and I'd have them tucked into a button of my shirt. Coloring hair, or eyebrows, better than plucking one or two too many and walking around for a few days with a startled expression on your face. Lavender eyebrows though. You might have me there. LOL.
