Now that we have been told women should NOT be giving themselves self breast exams, wouldn't it be a good time for somebody to open a new "Palpations Plus" business, offering $10 breast exams and ....um...something for the +? There are a billion boobs between the ages of 35-50 that really should be examined, the Cancer Society would agree. Who wants a whole new career? we could really market this!!!

Oh, I'm not saying I wouldn't be prepared to pay $10 depending on being able to put myself in the right hands.....

That would depend on who they hired to do the exams, there is high unemployment numbers and I wouldn't want JUST anyone without experience to be hired to do the job. Will there be training and certification for the position?

massage therapists have to be trained & certified, so for the sake of the conversation, lets go with something similar. Yes, many folks unemployed, and the start up costs are nominal, could work, IMO. who would you hire?

Mmm, something tells me there would just be little places cropping up all over the place with unqualified male 'examiners' who were just looking to get paid for feeling boobies all day!

Pfft. I care not one whit for these new "guidelines," which, by the way, have now been redacted by this health care "task force" because there was such an angry outcry from the American people. I will continue by self-exams, I will start having mammograms when I hit 40, and screw anything and everything to the contrary. That's all I have to say about that.

I've had two in my lifetime, neither covered by insurance. I'll go again when I'm 45. I paid alot for these puppies, and I'll be double-dog-damned if I'm having them cut off!
