I've never shaved my eyebrows and I don't think I ever would, now I groom them with tweezers and keep them neat, but I've never shaved them. I know some women that do too, and on some of them it looks good, but its not for me. I don't know if men do it, it would seem kind of strange if they did..ha.

Be careful! If you destroy the hair follicle, your eyebrows will never grow again.

Both male and females are now in this fashion of shaving and arching eyebrow so you may very well star doing it as it is a fashionable to do so. Some workplace even advice you to do so. I have know of situation of this nature , especially in the hospitality industry. I have done it but guess what each time this was done different there is a different result. The first time great! but after wards disater strikes. The hair dresser actually shaved off everything. In her shaving she muttered that she is not seeing very clearly but I could not dream that she was really not seeing. It was a good thing that I said alright do not do anything else; it was when I looked into the mirror that my eyes popped opened. (laugh) I just had to pray for quick growth to take place because when you looked at me you would realised that something is missing from my face. (laugh) When one's eyebrow is arched professionally it gives a regal look to the face. that's why I think that so many people engage in this activity and occassionall I do it.

I have not shaved my eyebrows. I think I would not look good if I take out my eyebrows. This is more done by women. So perhaps like you, I think I will never do such a thing.

I have never shaved my eyebrows, and I can't imagine ever wanting to! At times it's a hassle to have them waxed, it's hard to find time to make an appointment anywhere, but it's just one of those things that we (women mainly) have to do on a regular basis. I've often wished that I didn't have eyebrows, but I'm sure that I would look ridiculous without them. It's just a natural characteristic of the human face.

Hi, ronnyb. I don't think that I will ever shave my eyebrows.. My eyebrows brings out my facial features. It matches my black hair color. My eyebrows are thick and silky and they stand out on my face. My sister shaved hers one time, and it did not look right when she did. But she did let it grow back. She liked to pencil it in with a color that is close to her skin complexion. I will not shave my eyebrows. I will arch them, without all the cutting though.

shaving eyebrows - i am shaving my eyebrows sometimes.
I shave a part of it but not the whole thing.I used to it since i had started doing it.I won't feel good without shaving it a little just to trim hair to look good.I think most women do that now.

Oh no! I would never do that. It just looks so stupid. To shave them off and then pencil them in...WTF??? What is the point of that??? That not only looks stupid it just doesnt make sence. In fact i threw away all my makeup when i threw my comb away. I dont like the fake looks of the hoe paint. Half of em look like they are getting ready fro holloween. Its just so unnatural.

Yes, but only a tiny part of it and done by the professional make-up artist who did my make-up during my wedding and that's it. They looked nice, but they needed someone professional to do it, so, now I only pluck some of the hairs, but I would never shaved my eyebrows on my own and I wouldn't like them to be thinned as well because they don't look natural. I know some people would do it for cosmetic purposes especially at the saloon. Normally, the eyebrows would be shaved until they become very thin and then they will use 'tattoo' technique to draw the line on the eyebrows. They look good on some faces and if done by experts.

no no no! i would never shave my eyebrows. i see a lot of women do it even my friends and my mother but never would i do it. my eyebrow is a bit thick but has a nice contour and some envy it so i don't think i need some changes on it. i love to look natural so shaving nor plucking it will change my looks and i wonder what the result would be

Women can shave their eyebrows and in some men but for me, I will never or dare to do it. It's like I'm wearing make up!...

I have never shaved my eyebrows but a few times I needed "not to have eyebrows" for cosplays, and my solution for not to ruin my face was always theatrical makeup. I would use liquid latex and toooons of makeup to make the eyebrowless effect and... I find my face disgusting with eyebrows, plus I'm too lazy to do my makeup everydays. The answer: no way I would shave my eyebrows.

First, you don't have a problem! So, please get that idea out of your head. Just like with any other, "beauty" option the choice is yours and yours alone. If, you are not comfortable with the idea than, the likihood of you enjoying the outcome if, you were to "go ahead and do it" would lean towards slim. Some people get press-on nails, some don't. There are so many different nail polish colors because, not everyone is going to like the same color. Some dye their hair, others don't. Even, those who do dye their hair(by the way you are not ever supposed to dye your eyebrows-read the hair dye instructions)not all people look good in every color. Some people can't go blonde without, making themselves look too pale -with others dying their hair black would have the same affect. Hair cuts? Not everyone looks good with the same hair style or cut. The point is it takes all different types and styles, to add beauty to this world and natural is one of them. Some people like hairy chests others like smooth ones. Some people like thick eyebrows, some don't. Do what you feel comfortable with. Enjoy, who you are! Let others worry about their own choices.

You mean plucking your eyebrows, don’t you? I mean, I’ve never heard of anybody shaving their eyebrows! Yes, most women do pluck their eyebrows nowadays…they go to the beauty parlours and get it done professionally so that both the brows match each other in length and thickness. I had once gone for one of these sessions and it was not a very pleasant experience. Since I wear contacts, the lady plucking my brows had to have her hands over my eyes and that was a big irritant plus I was scared that the pressure of the hand on my lens would scratch my pupil…I’ve never gone for shaping my eyebrows since.

DO NOT DO IT! When I was a young teenager about 13 years old I got a crush on an older man and got the crazy idea that I would look more attractive with pencil thin eyebrows so I shaved my right one off. OMG I was shocked at how weird I looked (of course my little brother thought it was hilarious!) So I covered it up with a band aid...bad idea then when it started growing in again and I removed the band aid..it then pulled all the eyebrow hairs out AGAIN. The had to have been one of the dumbest things I have ever done. It did grow back but until this day (more than 50 years later) it it has remain bristly and not a nice shape...completely different from my left brow. So take a good tip from me...DONT DO IT!

Dear friend, I have never shaved, may be I may try it soon just to see how I would look. As a male I hope shaving the eyebrows would look really funny on my face. I would take a video and photo with my eyebrows shaved.

You mean shaving it all leaving a bald eyebrow. Isn't that going to result into a weird looking person? Well with women, they shave part of their eyebrow to give it a good shape and make it a more fuller look. Some have shaved it in favor of tattoo. Well that is their choice but I think I am not going to do the same. I am not gifted with good set of eyebrows. Mine are thin and scattered, but thanks to my hairdresser for he was able to keep them in better shape.
