Do you think that human kind will extinguish soon?

99.9% of the species of the earth have extinguishes, our specie is really young and we are experiencing problems at this early moment. Humans think they are the best of the best, but they are not, we could extinquish in a few hundreds of years because of global warming or an ice age, that´s the proof of our weakness, a strong specie survives millions of years, not just few thousands.
Notice that our body is really weak compared with other species and our knowledge is still really poor... we still believe in god.
So tell me, do you think that we will extinguish soon?
Please be as objective as you can and dont insult me saying that jesus will save all of us.

It appear me that you are angry a someone. My question is do you believe in Jesus? Jesus didn't cause the sin our life we did. He never did say our life we free from problems. Be he did made way for us go through what we are going through. We didn't get here by evolution as we lead to believe.

I know that jesus, ive even read the full bible, but im not a believer, its ok for you to believe.
Also i think that we should use the power of the religion to help ourselves instead of dennying facts as evolution and big bang theory, because nowadays there are more believers than skeptics.
The problem comes when we dont care about serious problems because we thing that theres a god that takes care of us and thats the big religions fault.

I am not trying to insult you but I believe. We still can live on the same planted and difference opinion. Lord have and still is good to me. You have a right believe what you want so do I. It is know way that we in the evolution as I was lead to believe. It is know way as complicate as our body is on God can accomplished.

I think that soon enough(2012 or 2029) our species are going to die...
They are saying n 2012 that there will be a polar shift.
I was watching the Discovery channel and there was this show on called Apocalypse How
and it said that right now there is a giant meteor or something heading are way and its due date is in 2029. So i think that the earth is going to be killed soon but not us no matter what we will survive for more than a 100years from now and live on but who knows.........

Im not sure about that 2029 meteor, because we can predict a meteors routh with 30 or more years of anticipation and its the governments obligation to invest billions of dollars to deviate that meteor, and as far as i know there are not too many funds in that research area. Believe me if we notice right know one meteor heading to us, in 20 or less years we would found the way to avoid it, there are lots of plans and theories for that cases right know.
Anyway, i hope its not true, hehe.

The word that you are looking for is to become EXTINCT, meaning to no longer exist. I think that there is a very good possiblity that humankind will go into extinction, why? Because at the rate that we are using our resources, there will be nothing left. Scientists have been telling us for years that we have to change the way that we are doing things or else the earth will die, yet no one seems to take this seriously. I personally do everything that I can to help out, I recycle, I re-use, I only wash my laundry in cold water, I don't turn on lights that I am not using, and I do a bunch of other stuff as well. I can only hope that the world will not end while I or my family are still alive. I hope that every one will contiune to do their part in hopes that we might still protect the earth.

Honestly, I think maybe the human will go to the end one day!
Because human has been exploiting the nature too much. And we give the nature too little protection. U know, the environment is worse and worse now.
I am really afraid of this!

Yeah thats a big problem, because, right now theres no turning back, and the worst thing is that if governments stop selling oil, and start using alternative resources of energy that may cause a big war. We have no option, science is our only way out, we need more knowledge, so we can find more rentable choices better than hydrocarbons.

I will not give up hope. I think there is alot of fatalistic things and ideas today. The thing about it is, humanity has went thru many things both good and bad. I think some of these awful things they say are gonna happen are to make money for certain groups.

I think one of two things will happen:
1. Humanity discovers how to travel between the stars before blowing itself up,
2. It does not.
In (1), I think humans could survive for a very long time, spread out amongst the stars. Or have I been reading too much sci-fi? 
In (2), which I think is more likely, humans will be extinct before the rest of the universe has time to sit up and take notice. In a galactic 'wink of an eye' - we're gone.

First and foremost, i would like to say that from the very beginning we knew already, we as humans are the most clever and brilliant living creatures on earth. Eventhough, our body is weaker than those other animals but we live and survive and multiplied a million times just because we are smart enough to protect ourselves from any danger and we know how to live better. We encountered many kinds of natural disasters which killed a lot of our kind but for me it's still not enough to think that we will be extinguish soon. And i think you should not also provoke others idea to say that it's insulting if we believe God will save us because as many peoplebelieve God is the reason why we are here and he let us live.

First of all i was not trying to insult anyone, but for me if we talk about god we are not having an objective conversation, thats why i asked for that, because i wanted an objective conversation.
And yeah, we are really smart, but its a problem that we are keeping multiplying ourselves, why?. first of all, the earth is too small for a big specie like us and we are not still capable of reproducing on other planets, and thats a problem, because as we are growing we need more food, more energy and more everything!, and theres when the problem comes because when we produce eenergy and everything we hurt earth and the ozone layer, why? because we are not really smart and weve not discovered yet alternative energy resources, well they exist but they are not rentable and if a country use them its economy will fall, and that may cause a war and even a world war... a lethal war.
Also we are in constant risk if the whole human kind stays on planet earth because in just few seconds a big asteroid or even a supernova could kill us in just a few seconds.
Thats what im talking about, we are weak and we are not smart enough, so we may risk extinction.

It is nice to have your own opinions and I respect that but dont get insulted if somebody believes in god because its their right like you have your own.
As far as the extinguish theory is concerned , I have a simple logic to it everything that is born or is a life form has a specific life and after a certain period of time has to die (extinguish) so that new life forms come in.
The so called strong species you are talking about is something I am not able to understand that what are you referring to. Please give me some details about that species.

Im not insulting anyone, but i wanted to talk objectively.
And well, almost every animal of the earth is stronger than us, why? because if we did not have instruments surely we would not kill too animals.
Snakes, rats, Turtles, Sharks, Crocodiles, Elephants, Insects, Tigers, etc, etc..
Those animals are stronger than us, they live more years and they can kill better than us, thats why they can survive for thousands and even millions of years.
We are smart but not enough, if you are interested of what im talking about please read my past comments.

in my own opinion, life is how we make of it. i mean, we are the ones taking care of ourselves so its best that we keep ourself healthy. am i right? yes there would be a possibility that we will be extinguished. but with a lot of health conscious people out there i doubt that the human race will come to an end. :) you just need to take good care of yourself man. thats the bottomline :)

Thanx for you commenths, i think that we are in a critical time, because we are not a strong specie, and we are not too inteligent by now, but if we all start searching for knowledge ,(science), maybe in 1000 years we wiill be sure that we will not dissappear from earth.
