The big vote is tomorrow

There will be a vote tomorrow on wether to even open debate on the health care bill. Reid needs 60 to vote in favor to even open it up for discussion. Do you think he can get them? I hope not. Why? Well because of some of the things in the bill. Like: 1. IT would make it mandatory for EVERYONE to buy health insurance. If you don't you get fined. "The bill would require individuals to buy health insurance, with a fine for non-compliance of $95 in the first year that would escalate to $750 by 2016" This was put in to make the insurance company lobbyists happy. If everyone is required to have it....think of all the money they will make. Tons of it. Pay day for the insurance companies. Nice to know that all the money they threw at our elected officals worked and take more money out of our pockets and into theirs. So either buy their plans or now you are a criminal. The insurance companies would then have the government as their "muscle" to make you pay up. 2. The bill includes a 5% tax increase on the cost of "elective cosmetic surgery". Why it is their job to pay higher taxes on their surgury to pay for everyone elses medical care? Simply put....its not. 3. The bill includes a range of tax increases and new fees. The Medicare payroll tax on individuals earning $200,000 a year and couples earning $250,000 a year would increase by half a percentage point, from the current 1.45 percent to 1.95 percent. In addition, insurers providing costly health coverage -- known as "Cadillac" plans -- would face a 40 percent tax on policies worth more than $8,500 for individuals and $23,000 for families. Yep you heard that right 40 PERCENT tax on their plans. That is outragous. If they put a 40% tax on milk you would see everyone up in arms. Or 40% on just about anything that MOST poeple use you would see them up in arms. How about a 40% tax when you buy a car? THis is beyond rediculous. I know this is long. Thanks for sticking with me. There is tons wrong with THIS bill. This is just a few of them. SOrry I can't add them all or we would be here all day and this post would be a monster. So given the problems with this bill, do you support it? Is it going to get it 60 votes to open the discussion? Are you going to call your elected officials and tell them to vote NO tomorrow morning? If so the time is now.....

it's all according to how many senators and congressman are willing to let this be their last term in office, i also think they dont care what the american people want, obama just want his health bill and screw the people that dont. all im hearing is abortion, thats is not the big picture, paying 10 years of taxes for 4-5 years of service is the problem. when you have a president who has no experience and you ( well maybe not you ) elect him into office he doesnt run the country his advisors do. the man has done nothing at all to serve this country, everything he said he would do while running for office went out the window, people think something big is coming and their gonna get lots of money, not happening !!!!!! the only thing big i see coming is a droped nuke from iran because obama is gonna let them have one. he's turned his back on europe. israel, and the american people, the man is a lying pathetic waste of human flesh and i feel sorry for his children.

Hopefully you will be on the phone TODAY letting your elected officials know that you disapprove of this bill and want them to vote NO tomorrow. I agree this bill is going to kill some careers. So lets see who committs political sucide tomorrow.
