Joining a gym is probably a very good idea. but you must also cut calories. do a vetetarian deit and you will lose and you can eat all you want. Just watch the condaments. Its not just celery carrots and luttice. go to a good internet site for help and recipes.

I think it is erroneous to say that with a vegetarian diet you can eat all you want and lose weight. You can get fat as easily with an all vegetarian diet. In fact, one of the ways to lose weight is to cut down on carbohydrates, and vegetarian foods are full of it (rice, pasta, bread). If you consisder the "thermic value" of food (the energy required to digest the food), protein has the highest value, so by increasing your protein intake you are actually burning more calories just to digest it. Exercise is probably more critical to weight management, so yes, joining a gym might be a good idea. Or you can start with early morning jog/walk, or you can climb a high rise building (say 20 stories)once everyday. It's free, and it's very effective.

My husband has cut down on his calorie intake and works out at home (lifting weights, exercise bike, and treadmill). He is doing very well! He has lost about 65-70 lbs so far. He does have one cheat day each week, but he still tries to keep his calories in check for that day. Good luck and I hope wish you lots of success!

You can only lose weight if you set your mind to it... i mean you can join a GYM and not lose weight if your not really dedicated to it.. you can drink diet drinks.. but they are no use if you still eat more than your suppose to... so the best thing you can do is set your mentality to lose weight.. and you'll be ok.. couple of excersises everyday... couple of push ups and sit ups. here and there.. should do the job!.. good luck on your diet!

You should join a gym. Sauna belt doesn't work. I tried it. Try to join a gym and try to eat healthy and drink minimum of 8 glasses of water a day. It will definitely help you. Good luck!

You said you are feeding...how old is your little one? brstfeeding is a great way to lose weight. I did with both of my two after they were born, for as long as I was able and lost a bunch of weight in the process. My youngest is 4 months old, and I wish I was still able to feed her so I could continue to lose. But I am having to work at the rest. So I am doing Pilates and LOVING it. I am also a Pepsi drinker. I would drink about 3 or more cans a day. I have cut myself down to one a day. I was 158 when I dilivered my daughter and I am down to 132 4 months later. I am on my way to being what I as before. And I have hardly done anything. Good luck on losing the weight. It is a process and its not going to happen at once like we would like it to.

I saw a special on the news the other night where people went on a water diet and lost tons of weight in a few months. All they did was drink one class of water before they ate, one while they ate and one after they ate each meal or snack. They never changed anything else. Good luck on what ever you try.

Cuttng fat intake is always of a help when trying to reduce weight, eating small meals several times a day helps also, as not eating slows down your metabolism. Walking is a great way to burn calories and it doesn't have to be done all at once, you can set goals for each week to increase the distance you walk. One mile walked in 20 minutes burns 100 calories. Walking that same mile in 15 burns 120 calories. Don't set goals as to number of pounds lost weekly, rather set goals as to number of calories burned. A good site for recipes an calorie counting and burn is... http://www.calorie-count.com/ You can also consult your health professional for a prescription for a fat blocker, orlstat is the only one currently on the market that has FDA approval.

You must also eat healthily about every three hours to fuel your body. Protein is important...stay way from too much sugar and bread

Joining a gym would be helpful. Going to a sauna could help a lot because you will sweat out a lot of the water in your body. Water can account for a lot of weight sometimes. But changing your eating habits (if they are unhealthy) would be the biggest key to weight loss.

Joining a gym, if you use it, can be one way to begin losing weight, or to be more accurate, trading fat for lean body mass. It should make your whole body feel better. You also need to pay attention to what you eat--how long will it satisfy your appetite, how healthy is it for you. Choose one bad dietary habit and change it, for three weeks, you might be surprised at what a difference it will make. (Trade water for pop or juice at least once a day. Start your meal with a clear, not cream soup, instead of a salad with dressing). Sometimes people get discouraged about working out because they will be heavier (muscle weighs more than fat) before they get lighter. Good luck--one pound at a time.
