I took pictures of them.....my neighbor came over and asked what I was doing and I said taking pictures of the dandelions.....he said..oh I dug mine out this morning....we must have missed something!!! Could be we be that lucky? No winter? LOL.....how is your weather?

Lol, the same humid weather is here too. Instead of feeling "cold", I still have not donned by sweater. It's still hot like summer -global warming? I can't seem to imagine how it would be , twenty years from now. Ice cold nights and blazing inferno during the day. That's a terrible scene. I hope the prediction won't come true. Something has to be done. Have a great weekend.

I've been thinking the same thing. This could have something to do with global warming. If that is the case, then we really are in trouble because its effect is quick. I didn't think it would be this quick. I just hope that we could counter global warming in the years to come before it becomes too late for us.

Hi Jill, Not quite as nice as you have it I guess. I'm here in Ohio and it's down in the 40s at night and 50s during the day, but wet. Brr, I hate the dampness along with the chill. Well, when you see some tulips coming up next to the dandelions consider Global Warming has hit for sure, lol! That's honestly what I think ALL this weather changing is about and people still don't believe it.

I'm glad u aren't knee deep in snow but the weather is odd there i would think for dandelions to be blooming. It was a beautiful day here today. it's unusally warm for thistime of the year. I have not had on any heat today & have had on shorts. Think it's suppose to get colder next week. As long as we have sunshine i'm happy. Happy weekend, Jill.

It is because of the two dirty words that no one want to hear. Global Warming. climate change is more palatable but global warming is the reality. Many places will be too warm and others will be too wet. The ice caps are melting at a far greater and faster rate than what was first previoulsy announced. Fact of life.

Well, here it seems like we skipped fall. It was really hot, then fairly cold, then really hot. Right now it is 50 degrees, and I think that is about what we always have this time of year. The crazy thing is, less than two weeks ago it got up to 80 degrees. Our winter is still coming, I just don't know when it will strike. I remember years ago on my 13th birthday (March 1st), it snowed 6 inches. But that past December we had gotten zero snow. It's all crazy! I'm just satisfied that I don't have to have the heater on or the air conditioner.

Hi pam, We also have Roses blooming again and they are not supposed to grow again till early Spring. Have had torrential Rains the Blackbird started singing and has stopped again. Ducks down at the Lake here don´t know what to do with themselves and the two Swans are behaving oddly too well on and off. Right now at this time of night it´s still quite warm in half an hour it will be much much colder than it is now. So it´s goodnight mylotters from Sue.

It was decent today. The weather has not dipped down to freezing yet here. The weatherman said on the news the other day that if we make it till the day before Thanksgiving then it will be the longest it took to hit freezing in almost 100 years.

I know what you mean. This is the first November that I can recall running my air conditioner too. Makes one wonder about climate change. We finally turned on our heater this week. Barely need a sweater!

wild flowers in the spring - Wild flowers and other flowers you would expect to see in the springtime are re-emerging due to the mild November weather. This picture was taken in the summer - but it would be good if we got summer next instead of winter!
Yes, it's weird isn't it? This seems to be happening everywhere. We've had a couple of chilly days, but mostly it's mild. And I've noticed that my spring bulbs are coming to life again! The daffodil and hyacinth bulbs have produced some green shoots, even though they're in pots outside. I don't know if they're going to grow enough to actually flower, but I'm hoping. That will really be something, spring flowers in November! It's also amazing to have dandelions at this time of year. I wouldn't be complaining either.

Yes, it's not natural for them. Maybe they'll be using up too much energy or something..? I realise that on the one hand it's nice to have such mild weather, but on the other, knowing it's probably due to global warning is not a good thing. And also if things can be unpredictable like this in a positive direction, who knows what's around the corner? Scary thoughts.. Well maybe we should just be happy with our flowers and not worry too much..

Hi jillhill, Dandelions are blooming all over the place here too and not only Dandelions but also the Dandelion Clocks.!!! Having variations of very cold frosty early mornings very hot midday and very cold nights. So now everyone does not know whether to take their Coats with them or leave behind in the Car.

I am in Florida, even though it is normal for us to have lows of 60's and highs of 80s this time of the year (I think it's normal anyway), I do work for a national call center and speak with people all over the U.S. It seems to be the same across the board where everybody is saying it is oddly warm for this time of the year. I'd imagine the planet is probably warming every year.

No winter would be wishful thinking. I'd be real happy if it didn't snow on the streets. Do love to see it on the grass and trees. Am not looking forward to the icy highways and streets in our area. The first snow is a disaster and it takes forever for the street department to clean our street. I could be snowed in for a couple of days. It rained here from Sun. through part of Thurs. Was so glad it wasn't colder as we have had a ton of the white stuff. Today it was sunny but in the 30's this morning. Typical midwest weather we are experiencing now.

I am so reaqdy for snow and cold. Bring it on Mother Nature. Gimme your snow and frigid temps. NOW!! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I don't think that we could be lucky enough not to have a winter at all. But, I am not complaining that we are having unusually warm temperatures here in our neck of the woods as well. They said that if we don't get snow this November, that it will only be the second year on record that our area hasn't had snow in November. The odd thing is that it snowed in October. It was just a little dusting, but it seems as if November has been warmer than the month of October was. However, I am not holding my breath. The weather forecasts are showing snow for Thanksgiving Day. And it is supposed to be nasty all next weekend. I guess we had better enjoy it while it lasts. Have a great day!

In Massachusetts it's been in the 60's the last few days...great for the month of November. Although we have not see any new flowers, and I have swept up many many falling leaves, leaving the trees bare. If it is Global Warming...I welcome it, anything is better than having winters like we normally do.

I live in NYC and usually around this time its freezing, but there are days where it feels like summer. I do miss the winter and it kind of makes me sad in the sense that I do believe in global warming and I feel that's really the cause of it. Because it's weird how one day it feels like 70 degrees and then the next day it feels like 10 degrees. And it's especially weird that flowers are growing in your backyard!! It's cool and it would be nice if our winters weren't so extreme but I guess it's scary when it doesn't happen how it should happen.. because at least then we know everything is keeping with the cycle and will continue to be alright.
