Sunglasses ? how do you use it

Hi and welcome to this discussion, do you use sunglasses? and what type? are they cheap or expensive ? and did you know that it can also weaken your ability to filter the sunlight naturaly if used for too many hours a day over a long period of time , sometimes it is handy but too much can be harmfull, i see people in the morning with there sunglasses on , and think there realy is no need for it or is it just a trendy habit , i wonder , cheers and greetings from bignik

i'm sufferin frm MYOPIA ( short sightedness ) I cant use SUNGLASSES..

hi , i still say that too much use of sunglasses damage our natural way of protecting our eyesight , and i think tha there is a great business out there , maybe trendy or fashion or whatsoever , but a real big business , as i say i rarely use sunglasses , and i would like to say that when i was in RSA and was on the border in the namibian desert on the angolan border we never used sunglasses , and i can tell you there was more than enough sunlight there , as the light reflects from the sand , i personaly think it is a big business, it is a help today for those who have a great need , but for the rest i have no say , greetings bignik

Hi, bignik. I don't wear sunglasses. I have seen many people with them on though. I know that when I am driving or either riding in the car with someone, the sun blinds the fool out of my eyes.. I would think that sunglasses can have its effects on ones vision.

Hi cream , i have a friend that used them even at work , and he is a car spray painter , at a final count he couldnt bare normal daylight and now he has to use those special glasses that go dark or shade in the presence of light , and that cost him a small fortune with all the visits he had to do and let alone a pair of these new glasses , before we used to call him Drac , we still call him by this nickname, greetings from bignik

I think I have a lack of some kind of vitamin in my system. Bright lights always seem to bother my eyes, so I like to wear sunglasses any time I am driving during the day. Sometimes, the sun won't be shining brightly, but the sky is bright enough to hurt my eyes.
Almost two years ago, I bought a nice pair of sunglasses. They weren't real expensive, but they did cost more than I would usually spend on a pair. I had returned a gift, and used that money toward the purchase. So they didn't seem to cost as much. They were broken when someone got into my car and sat on them about a month ago. Those were the best pair of sunglasses that I have had and I really miss them.
I've been shopping for a good deal on a good pair, but haven't found any yet. But, I sure do miss wearing them when I drive.

I seldom use sunglasses as it seems that I will look like the celebrity:) I like the sunshine and I don't want to wear sunglasses.

I have to use sunglasses when I'm outside for awhile. years of playing videogames and being on the computer at night, have made my eyes very sensitive to bright light.I remember when I broke my only pair of sunglasses, on my to the store to get a new pair, my eyes started to hurt.by the time I got to the store my eyes felt like they were on fire. as soon as I put on a new pair though the pain was gone. I've worn sunglasses outside ever since.

I use sunglasses when it's too bright and glaring. I don't care if my sunglass is cheap or expensive as long as it protects your eyes against the sunlight. Sometimes, we're using it just to let the others attract on you.

my pupils are unusually large.
so wherever I go, I take sunglasses with me. because at any time I might need them.
in the morning is one of the times when sunglasses are most necessary, as is the early evening, as the sun is low in the sky, and more likely to glare on your eyes.
wearing sunglasses in the morning isn't a fashion thing. it's wearing them at one of the times they're most needed.
sometimes people comment that I'm wearing sunglasses in winter, but often winters worse than summer because of the glare of the sun off clouds, making it harder on the eyes than just being sunny.
seriously, I have NEVER done ANYTHING to be fashionable. I don't care one bit about fashion, but I do care about looking after my eyes, and protecting them when the sun is so bright it makes my head hurt

I wear them whenever I am going out for more than a few minutes. One must protect their eyes from the damaging UV from the Sun and this is even more true for me since I live at a fairly high altitude. Wearing sunglasses does not harm your eyes. The sunglasses do not have to be expensive, they just have to block the UV.

I live in Florida where the sun is very strong all year long so wearing sunglasses is necessary in order to protect your eyes. I have prescription glasses with transition lenses that darken when I'm outdoors in the sun. I find them to be more convenient than my prescription sunglasses, which I wear when I'm at the beach because they're slightly darker.

Well to tell the truth I dont wear sunglasses ,actually I couldnt because I wear glasses .If I actually got to wear sunglasses I would walk straight through a wall or through a glass door.In addition I dont like sun glasses ,I never did but if I did it would be it would be in teh hot midday sun or if I was driving
