What will You Do If Your Parents Have Discovered Your Secrets?

secrets - Everyone has curiosity. Once our diary has been read by our parents, then our secrets will be exposed. That is the most uneasy thing you might have ever experienced.

Every cupboard has its skeleton and all people have their own secret. Some people like to put them down in the diary, including some bloopers, the romantic affaires in the early times. However, everyone has curiosity. Once your diary has been read by your parents, your secrets will be exposed. That is the most uneasy thing you might have ever experienced. Have you ever had some similar experience? What will you do if your parents have discovered your secrets? Will you lose your temper for the actions of your parents?

hello getbrowser... haha, this reminds me of one incidence when i was younger...i have a habit of writing in a diary, and i just love writing what happen to me for the day or what i feel, including my crushes, my everything..i also write there when i am angry or when i am sad, frustrated ...just everything... and my mom...she's always curious on my what about and whereabouts... and so, she tempt to read my notes, actually that was not really intentional, but still she read some pages and get to know some of my secrets...huh! she told me what she have read and tease me, i feel really embarrass, & a little irritated...but i do nothing! i just look down and feel like my whole body becomes so cold and blush! haha but i don't say a thing, i smile but almost crying...huh! i can't do anything coz everything is written there and i can't deny the fact that i wrote there...coz i even sign on there...haha since then, i become more careful with my notes and even lock them up...hehe but now, i no longer writing on diaries..its safer for me.

Firstly, i will definitely be disappointed, for it's meant to be my secret.. Secondly, i might be angry if i were to know the method they used in order to know my secrets!! I hate being exposed esepcially when it's something so private to me!! Even though they are my parents, still i have my own privacy, for everybody is entitled to their very own!! I will be angry and disappointed with them, but only for a while, for they are my parents after all..

Hi kun: as you said they are your parents and love is forever, at least if we're talking about God's love and parental love. Some parents are so overprotected that they simply want to know everything, seriously and that's not fair because we deserve our own space and it's not an obligation to share all your feelings to the world. Sometimes it's better that people don't know what you are thinking right now because this could hurt their feelings, i thought. I love your answer, thanks for that. Have a nice day.

To be really honest, there are really no secrets for my mother or anyone else to find out about me. I've always been a really open person in general and with my mother it is even different. She is my best friend and she is also the best confidant that I have so there are no secrets between myself and her. She is not one that is quick to judge so I think that is one of the main reasons that I feel so comfortable sharing with her.

yah i do remember in my teenage time i used to write my secrets in a diary that i always keep under my bed ..theres a time my elder sis went to my room and i don't know what shes doing there and happen saw my diary and read it and after that shows to my parents and the rest of my siblings..that time i was in the school when i got home went to my parents room to inform them i'm home already but what a big surprised my dad beside my mom and the rest of my siblings was there and dad read my diary and the rest they laughed and teased me.....i felt bad and embarassed especially hearing there loud laughters, i run out of the room with my tears and went to my room and lock my room and cries much....and the next day i get back for my diary in my parent's room then thorn all the pages and throw it away and my sis don't even care to ask sorry just nothing for her and for the rest who's laughing that what they did hurts me much and made me don't trust them, 'til now i don't trust my siblings....

Both my parents went to the grave not knowing my secrets. I do journal and so that is where alot of my journalible secrets are kept. I could write several books using the contents. My mother never read my journal. I think one of my ex's did. Not sure. That was his demise. Poor fellow.

i remembered back in high school when a classmate sent me a love letter and i hid them underneath all my clothes. then my mom started teasing me about it when she received the letter and i was mortified when she found it after i've hidden it. now that i'm an adult i do hope she never finds out some of my secrets.

Hello getbrowser this is checkmail and this game of secrects reveled before our parents is an very old game.Basically it had happened to us all the time, normally each and every activity that we perform without the consent of our parents or their guidances are our secrets and life is so short that everthing has to be reveled somtime. In many cases we ourself yell out the secret to our parents, some gives hints, etc.But yeah if the secret is somewhat like guilty feeling than its worst thing to happen.Else not much effect on our lives.

I lost my temper when my mom discovered my secret. It was her reading my letters without my permission that pissed me off. Even I was a kid, that didn't mean parents had the right to intrude my privacy.

what i woulddo really depends on how my parents react. i mean, if they dont have a problem with what they find out, then i will do nothing or i may discuss the situation with them. if they dont like what they find out, i will definately have to discuss it with them, tell them the truth, why i hid it from them etc. usually you keep secrets from your parents because you are either unsure how they will react or know that they will react badly. i have secrets from my parents, i think almost everyone does - for some its a part of getting oler and becoming independent. if my partnet found out my secrets i would probably freak out and hide.

I have no secrets from my mom. Really never have. The good, the bad, the in between my mom knows all. Never kept a diary. I am trying to have the same open communication with my kids. We have an open door policy. I think my mom just expected me to tell her, and I did.

Well I hope that never happens as there are some secres you dont want your mother to know cause for some parents its a little hard to know that their little boy or girl has grown up .Mind you I doubt that they would top loving you but they woudl be surprised .I dont know what I would or could do but try to epxlain it and hope that it doesnt affect your relationship.I would be disappointed if they invaded my privacy by reading my diary like that but then if they did I wouldnt get angry .

Hi get browser: It has actually happend to me!. My mother read some personal writings when i was thirteen years old. She felt embarrased for doing that but i was mad, i rembered i discuss with my mom because she told me that it was not her fault and that it was mine for writing these things even if i kept then in my room. I was so angry i don't talk to her for a while. It was horrible, not because i've told horrible things or it was a big secret but i think everybody deserves to have his/ her own privacy and i hate those disrespectful acts. Thanks for starting this discussion. It's very interesting. Have a nice day.
