Hello Everyone! Just wondering what is your premise in marking someone with best response? And how many best responses have you had? Is there a common factor on the best response that you marked on the discussions you have started and the discussions that you have responded where you earned a best response? Just wanna know, it might just help me choose a best response better or more fair. :)

Hi milfea! I seldom start discussions but I always make choose I award the "best response" after 24 hours of posting it. I'll certainly pick for a user who i think has the "best response". It doesn't matter if how many post he have made or he has a star or not and what is the color of his star. As long as he deserves the "br", then I'll give it to him. I've been here for a month now and I have made 5 best responses so far. I love it. We always do

Hello Yan. Thanks for dropping by. I admit I forgot some of the discussions that I have started. But today, I am going to to get back at each of it and mark the best response of the responses I got. Thank you so much. :)

Well, some people tend to forget marking the best response at times but you can always have time for it. And its good to know that you are going to do that. It's always good to appreciate users who gave the "best" response for your discussions. Its like one way of showing that you appreciate them much. Goodluck! Have a great day to you!

Hello there! Well, in choosing a best response for your discussion, pick one that caught your attention, the one that you really like, or the one which is useful and informative. When you start a discussion, don't mark a best response right away or immediately, wait for at least a week to give chance for others, more better responses will be posted on it. Sometimes, it is hard to select when many of the responses deserve to get the best response award. Users put more effort in their responses to get the award, for additional earnings and for a bit of fame. As of now, I have around 30 best responses and I had proved that it also helps to earn in discussions. Have a nice day!

Pretty much means what it means getting the best response is the one that made the best response

Hi milfea, I give the best response to the post which stands out the most to me. Quite often it will not be the initial response someone makes but something in their further response. It could be anything which stands out for me really, a one liner or someone coming back with several responses. As to ones own numbers it is very difficult to keep trac after the first 100 but the last time I did check it was over 450 so is probably around 500 by now.

I don't start all that many discussions, but when I do, I make sure that I wait long enough to get some responses, and find the one that comes the closest to the discussion topic. I have one discussion that is still getting responses after 6 months, and I don't think I have picked the best response as of yet, but that is okay, as it is still active and I don't have to give one if I don't want to, but I probably will. It is just that to give the best response right away, isn't fair to others who might have a better response that the one already picked. I have received quite a few best responses, but I have lost count, and not sure what I do have, so I can't give an aswer as to how many I have. I know I have way more than I have time to count that is for sure. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

My number rating is well over 500, and so far I've just had 17 best responses. So, my strategy in getting a best response is to answer as many discussions as I can. Now, in giving a best response, I would usually like to simmer my discussions for about a couple of months to see if it still gets a few hits. Then I glance through all the responses to see which stands out.

Hey there bounce. :). I'm so amused by your logic. It's like, the more entries, the more chances of getting a best response. :). lol. It's so cool. :). But it really makes a lot of sense. Thanks for this. I'll glance at my discussions every now and then, not just to seek for a best response, but because every single response from a mylotter is surely thought of. Thanks for dropping by. :)

I just awarded best response to the responder who gives me the satisfaction that I want as an answer to my topic. He might be giving me the nice impression of ideas heshe shares so, I will award to him/her the best response.
