What is your health hint of the day?

What makes you healthy? What do you do in your day that makes you a more healthy person? I stay healthy by walking everyday, Staying at a normal weight, eat plenty of fiber, yogurt, garlic and vitamin rich veggies. What do you do to stay healthy?

Hello. You are doing very well to keep healthy. My days at work are very long and stressful. So, I try to go jogging along the parkway every evening, atleast for about half-an-hour. That is very refreshing. Then in the evening, after dinner and before going to bed, I would practise "Yoga meditation" for about an hour. Meditation is very helpful for mental as well as physical health.

Mostly I do a lot of walking every day, I try to eat healthily but am not a big eater so alot ofthe time tend to pick at food, yet I do love cheese and eat that with most of my food, guess my diet isn't that healthy at all..LoLo

I have a green smoothie each morning with a hand full of raw almonds to start my, day, I make my smoothie from fresh fruit and kale or chard. I go to one hour of yoga class three times and week and I walk each day for 30 mins.

I walk on the days that the weather permits, I live in the south and the weather is changing, it is different everyday, some days it is raining, some days it is nice, I walk those days, now it is getting colder. I am not a cold weather person. I try to eat healthy food, I cook my food in a healthy way. I choose food that is good for my health.

I have to admit. I am not doing enough to keep my body as healthy as it should be. I need to increase the amount of water that I drink every day, I don't eat enough fruits and vegetables and well, maybe a little more exercise. I have been trying to increase what I need to be doing daily, but sometimes, I fail. Which everyone knows will happen, but you have to keep trying. One thing I have strived to do is lower my stress level as much as possible. With everything that we do on a daily basis it is no wonder that all of us aren't on blood pressure medications. We tend to run a huge array of stress in our lives that actually contributes to our health issues. Think I need a walking partner to help kick me in the butt!

First thing in the morning drink lots of water at least 30 minutes before you eat anything. Many people are feeling sick and tired because their bodies are dehydrated. Dehydration can lead to many serious illnesses. Save yourself from alot of pain and suffering and keep your body hydrated with natures perfect drink (WATER!!!). It's pretty simple.

well, in my case, I'm trying to lose weight to get healthier, I'm also trying to walk a bit more (especially now that it isn't 100ยบ out!)

I'm glad u are concerned about your health. Keep up the good work. I DON'T DO LIKE I SHOULD . I can't walk anymore for very far but i have been exercising lying in bed. a friend of mine that was a nurse suggested that & i do think it has help-ed.

Healthy Tips for the Day!: Eat on time =) added on what you said. =) When going to short distances, walk rather than taking a ride. =) just make sure you wont be late hehe

Hi mommy I know this might sound a little strange but my health hint of the day is SMILING.. I belive in affirmations. If you smile it makes you feel good all over. So have a smile about something every couple of hours thru the day and it will make all those aches and pains not seem so bad. Have a nice evening and remember to KEEP SMILING.
