Chiz Escudero not to run in 2010?

I have not yet seen it on TV, but according to my friend he learned that Chiz Escudero will not run in 2010 as president or even vice president. If this is true, then it is opposite to what Sergio "Serge" OsmeƱa III's announcement yesterday. Well, I think he made the right decision since I feel he really needs more experience. What do you think? By the way, I am a registered voter since the Marcos regime and have not missed any election so far. With this, I think I have the experience to share what I learned about the dirt in politics. Incidentally, I made a blog post entitled How to Vote Wisely this coming Philippine Election 2010 and here is the link - http://fatherblogger.com/2009/11/21/how-to-vote-wisely-this-coming-philippine-automated-election-2010/

His decision to back off the 2010 National election is just right. It allows him to think wisely how he would plan carefully his political destiny in the future and to gain more experience. I am glad he back out because there are too many Presidential aspirants already and the votes will just be wasted and divided. It is much easier if there are few but good candidates to choose from.

time flies really jlamela, before it was Loren, chiz, erap, bayani and etc. but now it has tremendously changed after Noynoy decided to run and all of the players changes sides from one way of the other. there are no permanent allied alright, only interest, i don't see any much loyalty except those who are in the corrupt and greed side, who ever that is. i hope the next President won't be having any more second thoughts and makes decisions very very careful.

i wish noynoy would admit his lack of experience the same thing chiz did... not that i do not like noynoy i just feel that chiz should not have backed out... if only he did not cancel his candidacy, i bet many would still vote for him...

I think it is already confirmed that he is not seeking any political seat for 2010. I guess it came ti his realization that the race is just too many already and him being all alone at this point in time would weaken his chances of winning the race to a more organized and politically backed up parties.

I have half-expected this from Escudero. So what is next for him? Did he say anything of his political plans? SO is he in with Aquino or Villar? I have heard it from the news but it was not very detailed.

hello father blogger, I have not just heard but watch it as well tonight. some how i feel disappointed on how it was turned out. first, he left his party, and then try to be independent and then soon he just stop his candidacy, and decided not to run. yeah, i feel he might loose but i was a bit disappointed because i would have voted for him. now, i am really confused what to do here and who to vote, i wish it's erap who gets the wake up call and do the same thing. only those who are loyal to Erap will certainly retain him some percentage but i doubt he would win. well, there's always 2016, i hope he runs for president then.

I've just heard some rumors that turns into real that Chiz Escudero won't run as a president. Is it because he was too young to be the president? I think he decided not to run as president because he has too many rivals. Votes will be divided too much and I don't agree with the new process of voting but it's less toll.

I am saddened by the news if this is true, but as you said being a presidential candidate requires a lot of experience before running so I guess his decision is right. I am saddened because he is my potential bet but now I am still have this confusion to whom my vote for our next election. I don't like all the presidential candidates, they are all fake for me.

He will file his candidacy for vice-president and this disappointed Loren so much. Imagine how politics can really turn upside down in a blink of an eye. There is no permanent allies in politics, only permanent interest. Each one is hungry for power!

My co-worker also told me about this just a few minutes ago while we were having lunch. So it's true, huh? I wanted to vote for him because he is still idealistic and still not as bad as the other politicians, but now I have to find another candidate to vote for.

I guess he made the right choice. Honestly, I believe his percentage of winning is very slim. It is better to back out this early.

Thanks chiz for not running, another poser out of the race. As we go closer to the elections we starting to see who is for real and who is not. Politicians do that especially if it nears the election. They say they will run for the higher position, when the truth is their plan is to run for a much lower seat. It is just for publicity hype, so that people will talk about them and have a name recall. Poor chiz, he should be nice to danding and his party. In that way, maybe they could give him the chance to run for president.

yes, chiz escudero made the decision not joining in the presidential race in 2010. i believe that it's the right decision since his chances of winning is very thin. I believe it's a close fight between villar and noynoy aquino. we don't need look further, it's gonna be the one of the two of them.

I believe it is not his time yet. He still needs more experience so that he would be a capable leader of our country. Right decision by Chiz.

This was also discussed in a radio show earlier this morning. Although this was not announced to the public yet. But if that is the case, I'm sure Chiz will have more opportunity to gain more experience since he's still young. And the presidency is just too high for him at this stage in his life. What he needs to do is gain more achievements so he will have something to be a proud of and include in his qualifications if ever he decides to run on the next presidential elections. Besides, his chances of winning on the upcoming elections is slim compared to the other candidates. Cheers!
