Mylot is a great site -- we all know. It offers paid discussions, tasks, quizzes, paid to upload photos etc. what do you think mylot should add more so that people will spend more time here and in return they will get paid in more ways?

It should be made compulsory to read the Terms, FAQs and Guidelines BEFORE registering. There are too many users who have no idea what to do here and do it their own way causing extra problems for admin and wasting other Lotters' time when their posts get deleted. It would be a much healthier place if everyone knew what to do on a discussion site and there would be more fun all round. That's all

I know that I joined several months ago and my memory might be failing and all, but didn't we have to agree to the TOS when we joined myLot? I thought that we were supposed to read them and agree to abide by them, but I could be wrong. I do know that with most software, websites, etc., you have to read and acknowledge that you have read and agree to abide by the Terms Of Service of the software or website, etc. before you are allowed to use the software or do anything on the website, etc. Was this not one of the steps that we had to follow when we joined the site? Hmmm ... well then I definitely think that myLot should start implementing this.

Well if we are here on this side of the fence then we did agree to them - but how many actually read them? That's what I was intending. Some sort of quiz or whatever, which has already been suggested by another user. Eeerrrrm... bbxe99 .... I am not a 'sir'

A real forum where people aren't afraid to post their real opinions would be nice. Forums cannot exist without conflict and real discussion, this doesn't mean we should disagree and throw ***********'s every where... surely we can discuss without the need to hurt others while pointing out where we disagree.

Hi bbxe99, I do not post irrelevant links in discussions but I seem to find very little discussion in the forums. If you read the forums on here, there's really very few reply to posts beside the discussion starter who only replies to thank people for posting anyway.

Revan, I believe that there are a lot of us on here that post our real opinions to discussions. In fact, most users encourage "real" responses to discussions, even if they are disagreeing with another person's opinion, as long as they do it in a polite and respectful manner. Sometimes a discussion is far more interesting if there is debate than if everybody is in agreement, but the key is to be polite and respectful, which unfortunately some people forget from time to time.

you can also post your real opinions over here except links that some big forums also don't allow

I think that myLot is doing really well just the way it is. There are some improvements that they could make, obviously, but they would just make what we are already doing that much better. I think the biggest improvement to the site would be for more users to report abuse, such as duplicate or plagiarized responses or discussions instead of looking the other way. It really is not all that difficult to do, especially when you go to an interest and there are three similar discussions on just the first two pages, or when somebody has already pointed out that the discussion is a repeat and will probably be deleted and yet people still waste their time responding to it. If we all took responsibility for our own actions on here and made sure that our work was our own, then this place would be a lot more fun. There would also be more earnings for the users that actually follow the rules, because the cheaters would not be taking part of their profits. This would make the legitimate user's earnings increase noticeably - it would still not make us rich but each day we would earn a few cents more for what we already do without having to work any harder.

Yes, this is actually already a rule posted in the guidelines of myLot, but unfortunately it seems that a lot of people choose to ignore this rule. If more people reported abuse of the existing rules instead of relying on myLot to catch all the violations, then myLot would not only have more free time to make other improvements to the site but also there would be more profits to be divided up by legitimate users. By the way, reporting any violations of the rules, such as reporting any duplicate or plagiarized discussions that you find, is also already a rule posted in the guidelines of this site.

You mean forum like rules -- search before you start a discussion .... good
