Is this term only used to mean a One World Government? A One World Economy? A One World Order under a single leader? If our world economy is crashing and terrorists are everywhere, would you favor a one-world political system and economy if it is the only solution to bring peace and stability in the world. Many past presidents and current presidents of powerful nations in the world are calling for it. Popes are demanding it. Pope Paul VI, when he was still Pope Pius XII pro-Secretary of Sate rebuked Catholics who were slow to follow the Papal directives in this matter: "How many...continue to shut themselves up within the narrow confines of a chauvinistic nationalism incompatible with the courageous effort to start a world community demanded by recent popes." Recently, Pope Benedict XVI in his encyclical announced to the world "the urgent need for a true world political authority to manage the global economy, to revive economies hit by crisis, to have food security and peace, to guarantee the protection of the environment and to regulate migration. He also called for the reform of the UN so that the concept of family of nations can acquire real teeth." Let us not forget that many leaders have dreamed about it in the past and became dictators like Hitler, Mussolini, Napoleon, etc. What is your opinion on these?

A "New World Order" Will only make our bad situation even worse. Our problems are not coming from the fact we are not united world wide but just the opposite. Far too many of our world wide problems are generated in countries like the US and England and then exported world wide. The different Nations are much too united already. Many of the mistakes we have made here in the US for many years have been exported into other countries but many of them can't deal with them as well as we can. All nations need to solve a bunch of their own problems at home before they start trying to help some other country get into as bad a mess as they are in. The US has been at this for years and don't seem to be happy until everyone is as screw up as we are. Our economy is designed to crash ever so often and it's when it doesn't crash, (or adjust) ever so often that we really start to develop serious problems. Our so called "Free Inter prize System" will be our down-fall in the end. We will never have a stable economy that offers any kind of security until everything concerning it is very closely regulated. Greed in the business place and Government must be closely controlled and not allowed for any reason. As they say, Hind sight is always 20-20. I have been around for 70 years and I have actually seen many times where we were and what we could have done to make a better more stable world but greed didn't allow it. Many times this greed was produced by the actions or in-actions of the members of our own government. Big business has also had a hand in it. That's my 2 cents worth. Art

Thanks Art. We have the same opinion too. Truly this New World Order that they are pushing will lead not to world peace and stability but, as history often tells us, to tyranny, slavery, poverty and war. Unless the heart is changed, greed and lust for power would be in the heart of every leader. What can you say about popes who are supporting it?

The Popes are caught up in the same web everyone else is. It's all about money and power. Most religion, especially in the developed countries, is being supported and controlled by money. If the money stops so does the religion. The Popes have a good reason to support this and no doubt money is involved in some way.

I also agree with you in this area. But is it true that most top cardinals in the Catholic Church were freemasons? Do you believe in the testimony of the late Fr. Malachi Martin?
