What in myLot you dislike most?

Friends, i know you all like myLot a lot... like me... but, do you like the whole of it? or, you feel, there's something myLot need to/can/should improve... is there anything in myLot that you dislike? what you dislike most in myLot?
i'm most disturbed by its speed... it's slower than most other sites... when your internet connection is not so good, you really feel it strongly... when most other sites like facebook, myspace etc work reasonably in the slow internet connection, myLot is sometimes frustrating, especially during any submission...
it's completely my opinion... what's yours?

I think that My Lot is excellent and I appreciate always having discussions available to respond to. I also like it that there is no limit to the number of discussions that I wish to start. I belong to a story writing site that can often have a lack of stories. It can also have just one topic I have to write stories about. By comparison My Lot has all sorts of different discussions. I don't like it when I write a response and my laptop loses it before I send it. That is a reflection on my laptop rather than on My Lot. My Lot can be slow but sometimes my laptop works that way.

Mylot is an amazing website.the website has many categories for discussion unlike any other sites.I really love Mylot.Even though the site is slow one should remember that slow and steady wnis the race.So Mylot will win the race ultimately

thanks maximax for your response... i agree with you, myLot is cool indeed... lot of space to steer around... yeah, it often happens to me also... due to the slowness, i often lose my writings while submission... the next page doesn't appear... from my rating you know, i can't copy and paste... so, it's very bothering... i don't think my pc has any problem, but yeah, at times the internet speed of my connection is very slow... those are the toughest times... in plain sense, myLot has nothing to do with it... but, still I think, myLot can do something for us... if they make it more efficient, everyone will be benefited... you having a faster connection will also get the fruit and will love it more...

As a whole, I like MyLot just fine. If I had to choose something that I disliked about MyLot it would have to be one line questions as well as responses, hands down. I do not find MyLot slow by any means.
I have both DSL lite and High Speed Cable and find the site to work just fine either way.
My advice to you would be to first start with defragging your hard drive, offline.
Also, depending on your operating system, you may be lacking sufficient memory.
Some windows operating systems hog memory more than others, therefore, regardless, it is important to keep a good percentage of your disk space free so to allow for the smooth workings of your operating system.
If all else fails, try installing more RAM.
If you are on dial up, then I can see why you are having periods of frustrating slowness.
If you are not on dial up, try the options above.
Sometimes, simply defragging can work wonders.

After thinking more and having read what others have said, I too recall a ways back when it was like MyLot website would just hang. Meanwhile no problems elsewhere.
I have been reading others complaining about slowness at MyLot as well. Perhaps it is simply the Server that MyLot is hosting on..
Are you still finding these problems?

EvrWonder, thanks for your comment and the advices... i really don't find problem with my os... yet, i'll check again... i found, speed of myLot is generally ok... but, it seems slower than other sites when the internet connection is itself slow...

Mylot is generally a good site, but sometimes it just seems to go crazy. For e.g. for the past 40 odd minutes it is not letting anyone post any discussions on the site and has blocked every discussion. No idea what is wrong with the mylot system, but it is simply not accepting the discussions.
Such issues really frustrate me. The other frustrating thing about mylot is their blogs, no idea how to get the blog in here and my blogs are still in claimable state with nothing happening!!

I don't have problem with the speed. I dislike that we can't post pictures directly into posts (not just as attachments).

and yes I agree with you.. it has a slower connection compare to the other site.. i don't know why... well i like mylot for the reason that i have fun writing comments and my opinion in any discussions plus i also learn a lot from others' experience, point of view, and a lot more. but another thing i hope mylot admin could recognize is the earning points. even if you work hard for this site, your earning points is so small... hope that mylot admin could increase it somehow... but at least i enjoy my stay here...and in order for people to enjoy too... they must NOT think of the earnings coz they will only be disappointed... they must think of how mylot give them fun.. while learning and earning.
