can you believe this? a drawing being mocked as the world's worst e-fit sketch has helped the bolivian police to track down a murder suspect! bolivian authorities released a crudely-drawn e-fit of a man believed to have taken part in the murder of a taxi driver. the sketch which was drawn by a female witness, even being compared to the wizard of oz's scarecrow. but eventually it still helps the police to arrest the suspect. is this some kind of miracle? what do you think? for more information: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1230280/Police-issue-worlds-worst-photo-fit---works-Officers-nab-man-accused-murdering-taxi-driver.html

Wait a minute ... I can't be certain, but ... isn't the real person behind that e-fit mock-up a BLACK MAN????!!!! I think the answer to this is, it's actually the best e-fit ever. The killer was wearing a paper mask made out of his daughter's "This is my Daddy" school art project when he did the job. All you had to do was line up the suspects, and see whose kid did the nearest job. Sorted. Bolivia - the country where crime is so rare, burglars still wear striped shirts and eye masks. "Yes, but madam - APART from the incredibly bad toupee mullet, did he have any distinguishing characteristics?" "Well, he was carrying a bag marked 'swag,' officer." "Ah-HAH! Sidney, get the Llamas out, we're going on a raid..."

This made my day I think the hair might have gave him away, definitely the hair. God bless the witness for trying her hand at the sketch, I wonder did the police keep a straight face when they seen it.

Hehehe.. it's like a child's drawing. I thought the crime investigators have 'expert' sketchers to do their thing?? Anyhow, I was pondering on it a little bit more, and perhaps the hair got him out, I mean the eyes nose and other features are 'common' but the hair indeed is something that strikes out.

We are talking Boliva. I am not sure how up-to-date that country is, but I somehow doubt that they have experts in their police force. Yeah, the strength of the drawing lies in that bad haircut.

now that's the main difference of a hairstylist & a barber. the guy would be regretting of having that special haircut.

There simply had to be something else that made them arrest a person. The picture/sketch is really not a good thing to go by, as shown lol. Amazing! Karen

One hopes that they had something else. Of course, after they arrested him, they could ask the eyewitness if he was the guy. Nevertheless, amazing.

i am unsure whether they had something else to help during the arrest, but of course the eyewitness would have to recognize the suspect after the arrest.

At least the woman helped to catch the killre although the sketch is really ridiculous. I found the sketch very funny but maybe it is a miracle because it also helps.

for me, i would surely fail to arrest the suspect, because it's not easy to search for someone without ears.

hahaha, im skeptical about this story... there is no way someone can be identified via a sketch like that! i mean, i think i can draw a lot better than that, but then even a broken clock is tells the right time twice a day. so maybe it could happen. it just boggles me how they pulled it off? have a nice day HAHAHAHA LOL

The fact the suspect had already been dragged down to the cells crying, "All right, it's a fair cop, I did itnowcanyoupleasestophittingme" had nothing to do with it, I suppose?

hi bossfortune! you are right, even a broken clock tells the right time twice a day, so i also believe that it could happen. hi jazzsue58! do you mean the cops hit the suspect to confess that he was the murderer?

Woah! That drawing really looked like a child's scrawl. But I guess it doesnt really have to be life like. As long as it can be distinguishable and there are witnesses who can crudely assess whether the real person that they suspected was the actual killer, then I guess simple shapes can really help. I dont think its a miracle. Just great deducting skills from their police, plus a few eyewitnesses.

yes, it can be distinguishable easily! the sketch shows that the man is without ears! so the police specifically search for people without ears & they found him! ...i was just kidding! that's not the way the found him.

No. No miracle. Just justice at its best. Usually they aren't lucky enough to have witnesses that will even try to draw a valid picture. I think it was great of the witness to come forward with the picture whether it was a Monalisa or not. At she was trying to do what she could. More than alot of people do now days.

you are right, at least she came forward & tried to do the best that she could. if she did not do this, i believe that the murderer would still be free & maybe there would be another victim being hurt or killed.

That sounds a bit weird don’t you think? I don’t see how anyone can be identified from a drawing like that! Perhaps it was one of those things that were just meant to be and he was supposed to be caught, in other words, a strange coincidence that the actual guy was apprehended. It is certainly a bizarre story...

Hey, I think that's pretty cool if you ask me! I guess we don't have to be skilled artists to help solve crimes! That's good news for me, because actually, that drawing looks like something I would do.

I can't belive that the cops used that drawing. but I sposed it was better than nothing. I think that there is more to this than what is being reported.

since they are successful with the arrest this time, they might be receiving more sketches like this from the eyewitness in the future.

Personally, I am always amazed when they catch anyone based on a sketch. But I will admit that this one is one of the worst that I have ever seen. Then there is always the description of suspects that you hear on the news: white man, mid-30's, 5 feet 6, wearing a tan jacket. Huh? How do you catch anyone based on a description like that? And surveillance videos? Can you possibly get worst pictures? All blurry and out of focus. In my opinion, it is a miracle anyone ever gets caught at all.

hi victory it is a scratchy sort of drawing but maybe the very crudeness of it matched the wrong doer in some way and again maybe it was a miracle as we do not know just how miracles happen any way. It could be that that odd hair gave the bad guy away really quickly.

if not because of the hair, then it must because of the ears. just look around for someone without EARS!
