My new favourite way to burn a few extra calories during the day is fun and simple - anyone can do it! Pick an upbeat song, turn it up, and dance! You can dance to 1 song, 5 songs, even 7 songs if you would like. It's fun and easy and is a great mood booster. You'll get yourself moving, burn some extra calories, and have fun. Listen to music while you cook, clean, or anything else. It will make you move more, therefore you'll burn more calories. Give it a try, I swear you won't be disapointed!

hi captainmorgan yes that is an ideal way to lose weight get in shape and have fun. When I was applying to be allowed to use the little access bus, there was an dancercize class in the room adjacent to where I was waiting. it was fun to see all these women and men of all ages learning to dance for exercise. and they were not all sleek and trim either so we had skinnies and fatties and in betweens all dancing the best way they could and there was a lot of laughing and giggling going on. but they were really moving and burning up calories. i am handicapped with one bad foot but still can move to the music at my age so this year I am going to lose that fifty pounds.music, etc I will do it.

I can't dance very well. In fact every time I do I look silly. That's why I do it in the privicey of my home. I wish I could enjoy music more though. But I do find its a good way fro me to go to sleep at night. LOL But, that wasn't the point was it?

How I wish I can dance but I can't. I agree that music motivates you to be active and be in the mood to exercise. I'm also prefer to listen to the music while I'm exercising or cleaning our house it makes me more active because if not it is so boring and lose my interest to move.
