Anyone know how to have a good sleep ?

Some of people have a lack of sleep due to their hectic schedule. They having a very short time in sleeping, because of their schedule. Is there any way for having a good sleep even if it's a short time ? Do we need to eat certain vegetables or fruit to help us sleep better ?

I just used to have a glass on milk on every nights before I sleep. This can really helps you to have a good time. Hope you can also make use of the milk. I will give you a good sleep

I listen to calming music before bed,it helps me fall asleep and stay asleep a bit longer.I also make sure I am not cold.Meditation helps about 50 percent of the time :)

Nothing will change good quality sleep if it is too short. Humans are meant to sleep an averaghe of 8 hours each day. There is no way of making changes that allow one to sleep for say, 6 hours, and finding that adequate. A goiod healthy diet will make you sleep better, as will certain night time habits.But if your problem is not your ability to sleep, but lack of hours, there is no way to solve it. Try changing your schedule a bit, although I know this may seem unrealistic.

To have a good sleep we could not think a lot of things before we sleep. Need relax mind first before sleep. If you're too stress, try listen to some music before sleep. Remember not rock music but soft. Drink a cup of warm milk half an hour before you go on your bed. Also wash your leg with warm water could help you have a good sleep. Healthy lifestyle and regular exercise would have a nice dream! Do not take a long nap in the noon time. These could make you couldn't sleep well at night time.Vegetables and fruit could help us sleep better as the blood cells keep fresh.

I also want to know how to have a good sleep especially in a short time. I am always feeling very tired these days and lack of sleep. even sometimes I sleep for a long time, but i still find very sleepy and tired when i start to work. i suppose that we need more practise or exercises to keep us fit. but i am still trying this method. be open to new ideas.

1] Don't take a long nap during the day; this may make it more difficult to fall asleep at night 2] Eat at regular intervals during the daytime; avoid taking heavy meals in the night 3] Don't smoke; if you can't quit smoking, atleast try not to smoke atleast for an hour or two before going to the bed 4] Take a warm bath before going to bed; or else listen to some soothing music or read some books of general interest; you can also try to meditate for a few minutes - either of these things will lead to sleep 5] If you still cannot find sleep, don't simply lie on the bed for more than 15 minutes. Get up from the bed, go to the living room and spend some time either watching TV or reading a book until you feel sleepy 6] Use the bedroom only for sleeping, not for working or watching TV 7] Keep your bedroom dark and quiet 8] Avoid excessive mental stimulation before bedtime 9] If you are filled with worries, you may find it difficult to sleep. Ensure that these worries are set aside. What you can do is after having dinner, spend around 30 minutes to dwell your problems. Instead of just thinking over it, try to write down the problems in a sheet of paper and the possible plethora of solutions or ideas to tackle those problems. I think my tip would be not to eat too much heat(y) stuffs because it can be a bit hard to sleep. Take cooling stuffs like you said, some fruits and vegetables, or best, make yourself tired by doing sporting activities. That will enable you to sleep for sure. It does work for me..

Hi jc_star10,Well,i dont have any problem about sleeping habits.Every time i need to sleep,i can easily fall asleep.I used to take Vitamins with iron 3xa week.and it helps a lot.Any way a Glass of hot milk before bedtime can help to achieve deep sleep.Trust me it really works.Good Luck!

Have a enough sleep is very important.Every night I always chat with my dormate lying in bed.After a while ,we'll get into dream...I think we can listen music for sleep.I think we don't eat sth before sleeping,It's very bad for our body.As long as we have a good mood ,we'll have a good sleep. hi,i think if you want to have a good sleep ,you would have a relax ,don't think so much when you want to sleep and drink a cup of hot milk before sleeping ,it can help you fall asleep quickly.
