We finished our meal yesterday and then put up our tree.

Usually we put it up on the Friday after Thanksgiving. So when does your tree go up? I had 3 uncles, my hubby, my daughter and my sister helping. It was a family event. And it went up in no time!

Our Christmas tree will probably be going up sometime next weekend. I realize that it is a little bit late in a certain sense, however, my daughter's birthday is next Friday and I like to try to keep Christmas and her birthday seperated as much as possible. Especially since she was born four weeks early so that she wouldn't literally be a Christmas baby. I was given due dates of both December 25 and December 27 for her. We will be having her birthday party with her classmates and the neighborhood kids next Friday, then her family party on Saturday and either Saturday evening or Sunday we will put up our Christmas tree.

It will go up when I feel like dragging everything out and spending every moment from that point until Christmas keeping my younger ones from touching it and knocking it down, etc etc. Probably at least 2 more weeks. Chances are it will come down Christmas day, or the day after at the latest. We always put ours up as a family, but just us and the kids... otherwise it will go up TOO quick and we'll feel like we didn't enjoy it enough.

Hello ersmommy, We will be putting up our decorations and tree between tonight and tomorrow afternoon. I was so tired after yesterdays dinner that I could even fathom trying to put up a tree. It will be between myself, my husband and out two kids that are helping to put everything up. I love this time of year =)
