Do you read the comments that users leave when they watch a video from Youtube?

Yes, I do like to read the comments after watching a video. I try to read all of them, but I stop if the video is very popular with thousands and thousands of comments. Most of them are positive, some of the comments are extremely witty and clever (and those get many thumbs ups), some of them are negative and some of them are insulting or ignorant. Most of them have swears on every line. Usually the ones that say "I didn't like this video" get a thumbs-down, but I don't know why, as it is their opinion. I usually get into arguments with racist people or people who go around insulting things, so I guess I like to read and get involved, too. Things can get very interesting and the arguments get real heated, but I try not to use profanity.

Sometimes I do. If one catches my eye. I don't make a habit of it. A lot of the time I notice people can be nasty or rude. That turns me off. SO I just try and enjoy whichever video I am watching.

I love to read the comments too and spend a lot of time reading it all....Sometimes, I am not yet finish watching the video and I already finish reading the comments so I will play it again...

hi cream97 yes I am one who really gets a kick out of some of the comments on youtube. I every once in a while listen to a video there and follow the comments,have even made a few myself. they are sort of interesting too. Some are disgusting but then I am not one for gross profanity. My dad would not let us even say dam when I was growing up. I do love some of the music videos too and the comments they make about some of the musicians too.

Yep, I almost always read comments posted on YouTube videos. I always read them when the comments are posted on mine. There have been times that I'm really glad I did because there have been comments posted on videos I've watched that have made watching videos so much funner. There have been videos that combining the comments left, have made me laugh to the point of tears. Unfortunately there are people who leave really negative comments like you said. Those are never fun to see.

OMG..there's some rude *ss people on youtube. i've seen some really uncalled for comments on there. i'm surprised more people don't turn comments off.

Yes I do read the comments, when I post a video my self.

I will if I am confused about the content.

I go to you tube too and while I am there I also like to read the comments that other write because I often find information about the video that I wouldnt know as many of these people are quite knowledgeable too .There are even times when I will make the rare comment too if I really like the video and think I have something usefull to say

I do read the coments posted at youtube channels. I have posted a few myself, I have my own youtube channel and I have had some commnets on some of my vids. I do find the coments intersresting and funny sometimes. Yes there are some vular coments made there too, but that the way it is on the net sometimes.

I sometimes read the comments but most of the times they are irrelavent and it sort of out u off, but I am really surprised how much they have to read those stupid remarks. Some one put very bad remarks under my own video and they have to do nothing with my video but imagine how people find time to do bad for you when u have link with them.

Hi cream i also read like you only in between watching the videos and I too feel the same like you. Some are thought provoking comments, some are just plain and someother are really slang but it reflects different people's views.

It can be interesting to read some of the comments, etc. that people leave behind when watching a Video, etc. there. I do feel that the mean negative comments should be left behind even if you have Negative thoughts or feelings about something being posted there as well. Just like in here, there are negative people and I think we just hope that somehow their lives will be changed one day to where they will regret all the things they have done that might be harmful to others as well.

I barely watched youtube. Although there are times when I do search for some videos that I find useful. But its not often. So when it comes to comment, I really do not read them.

Hi there, yeah I do that all the time. Sometimes I want to read the comments and know if people love or hate the video as much as I do. Sometimes I just want to enjoy the comments and have a laugh.

Of course I do read the comments mostly those videos that don't have title or any description. Most of the mentors do leave more information about the video. I love music videos, Movie trailers, anime spoilers and more. And I also like editing videos before I upload it.

yes, users leave the comments on the watched videos on youtube but only those videos which they like much and others video they closed after watched without comments. I also from the users like that.No comments only video watching. I think every youtube user do like it

I don't use youtube that much.......... However whenever i watch any videos on youtube i tend to read all the comments given on that video............. And ya though some of them are outrageous and funny....... Others do content slangs....... However its kinda fun to read those comments.................
