Ever have unlucky weekends?

I have and about the only thing you can do is try to think positive thoughts and try to do something to make everything better. I hope you feel better and I hope it wasn't a brown recluse spider, I've seen some pretty wicked pictures of people that have got bitten by them. Did you get stitches in your finger? Have you taken anything for the pain? If the bite gets worse, you should maybe go see a Dr. Sometimes when I have a bad day or weekend, I go and try to find something to do to take my mind off of things and where nothing bad can happen.....I read a book or get online and come here to mylot.

Ow! spiders that bite you in the night?? That's your area off my list of "Places to go" !!! I hope both the finger and the leg aren't giving you pain now and heal quickly. I didnt have anything anywhere near that bad this weekend but... I just missed the last parking spot near work so had to go up to the main car park where I reversed (albeit very softly so no damage) into the wall. I picked up my bag, forgetting that it was still open from when I stopped at the petrol station (where it had cost me £40 to top-up!) and everything fell out across the floor of the car... My pen went under the seat - just beyond my fingertips - I managed to fish it out but lost the lid under there. I went to change into my work shoes and found that my last passenger had knocked one of them under the seat so had to fish that out and then, as I bent to tie my laces, I managed to stab myself in the leg with a pencil that was in my uniform pocket.

I don't have unlucky weekends, because we have a wonderful Sunday ritual. it's impossible to have an unlucky day when my husband and I sit here and listen to the Croatian and Serbian programs on our favourite local station. I have had unlucky days, sometimes months when a numnber of things all crop up at once, but I can pretty much guarentee that Sundays will always be a reprieve from the crap.
