If we don't eat them in a few days then I freeze them & we eat them another time. My whole household absolutely loves turkey sandwiches.

About three days. After that I will freeze or make soup!

I have quit a few left overs to deal with. The day of thanksgiving I took all the bones and put them in my crockpot and covered them with water and cooked them all night. I strain the bones and toss any veggies in the broth. When it's cool enough to handle I finish picking the bones. I got about 2 or 3 more cups of meat doing thing and at least 2 quarts of broth for noodle or gravy. The next day I cut up the other left over turkey for some TV dinner, pot pies and Hot pockets. These I put in the freezer to work on later. I don't like to keep turkey in the fridge more than 4 days but it is usually gone before then as the kids will pick it apart.

We did not do a big Turkey dinner this year, so there really were no leftovers. Normally though I will freeze most of the leftover turkey so it will keep longer. I might do turkey leftovers the day after Thanksgiving, but I get worn out on turkey after that.

All the left overs we have from any meals we give to our chickens as well as the dogs as that way there is no food being thrown away as well as that gives us more room in our bins. The best bit is we give the chickens good food and in return we get good eggs.
