Looks like we are going to have a freeze tonight.

I keep the house warm at night, but not during the day. I know here in Idaho we have had bad weather and it has been cold. Two weeks ago the streets were so bad at night that my husband had to drive me to the door while he went and parked the car. I hate being out when there is ice and heavy snow.

We had a freeze like that the other night. Everything was white and glittering, but it was not a deep snow, more of a thick frost. Also, the dang sidewalks here are a sheet of ice, because of this. My husband has been putting salt on the sidewalks, and porch ramp when he goes out, so it won't get so bad.

It is good that you don't have to drive anywhere in this freezing weather. When we had some snowfalls in the middle of November, there were more than eighty accidents due to the freezing weather that caused the slippery roads everywhere. So it is safer not to drive anywhere with such a freezing weather. Also I remember that last January when we started to have our winter vacatio, I was very lucky to have been able to take a bus from my local town to the capital city in the morning before it started to snow. After that snow in the very afternoon, no bus was able to be running on the road because of the situation. So I was lucky enough to take a flight back home. Those who left later than me had to stay a few more days behind before the weather got a little bit better.

To be in a nice, warm house when it is cold outside is one of the best things that I can think of. We haven't had any snow or ice yet this year, thankfully. However, it has now turned cold and there is nothing that I love more than knowing that I am in a nice, warm house when it does turn cold outside. These are the kind of days where I have a very hard time getting out of bed because I am so warm and snug under my blankets.

Hi jugs, We have plummeted to below zero today we have dropped about fifteen degrees at the drop of a hat. On Sunday I thought I could sense the Snow in the air there was no indication of it but I knew it was there because I used to live in England and went to work when the powercuts were on lol. Experience lol.

Always nice to have a warm home nice and comphy. and nice to be able to stay home too out of the weather!

It has been getting pretty cold at night here recently, but we have not gotten any snow yet. It did dip down below freezing once or twice now, but barely. I have a bit of a chill right now, so I just turned up the heat a little bit.

Hi jugs, After all the rain we have had, I welcome the frost but like you, I am so glad I won't have to go out anyway as I have done all my shopping today, it has been so very cold all day ande glad to be indoors on my computer, lol! keep warm. Tamara

Wow I can only imagine what you are going through because I live in a tropical country where we are not used to that .Sometimes it get really hot here but I would prefer that to some of the temperatures people experience in countries like yours.I hope it wont be too bad for you though in terms of manageable temperatures and roads

Hi jugsjugs,though it doesn't snow at our place but its real cold here at this particular season and i enjoy this weather coz it comes only once in an year and rest of the year its real hot so i dont to let it go with any enjoyment with my friends atleast from my side.
