I don't think they should be banned. All the Pit Bulls I know are very loving & sweet dogs. I have 4 Pit Bulls (2 males, 2 females). They are the best dogs I have ever had & I've had a lot of different kinds of dogs in my life. I think it's horrible that authorities are going & taking wonderful family pets off of people & putting them to sleep just because of their breed. At least 90% of the dogs that they do that to have never even growled at anyone in their life. :( So sad.

I agree. Any kind of animal should not be killed. I guess people have the wrong idea about pitbulls and i also hate it when they make dogs fight just for money. They should not be put to sleep. Most pitbulls I see are even hugged by children and they love them

Yes, Pit Bulls LOVE children. They were bred to be great with them. All 4 of mine are house dogs & love the pampered life. LOL They're big cuddle bugs. All they want to do is lay on the couch & cuddle all day. I don't have any children of my own, but my dogs have been around a lot of children & they are very good with them.

Any dog can be made to be mean and any pure bred dog can "short circuit".

not all pitbulls are bad. i have friends with pitbulls who are the sweetest dogs.
so it just depends on how their trained
