[b]See, I knew he'd be fine.
I still remember mine coming out when I was 6. They tricked me, though. They said I'd be "able to have all the ice cream (I) wanted afterward," but they sorta kinda forgot to mention that my throat wouldn't be able to swallow diddly, so I wouldn't "want" any!
Worse, once the initial pain went away, instead of giving me straight ice cream, they gave me a rich malted milk, & it was so overly sweet & cloying, I tossed it right back up! }^p
I was more than a little miffed, I can tell you! Not fair!

[b]Well, see, no-one was more surprised than I; I was a rough & tough little tomboy! I guess that one just "snuck up" on me!
By the way, I love malts now, but it took me over 30 years to get brave enough to try one again! I so hate up-chucking, y'know?

Antiquelady,
I am so glad that Ryan came through his surgery all right. It is so difficult when you have a loved one that is ill and don't know what to do.
Our prayers go out to you and your family during this time of healing. We wish you the best and hope that from here on out things will only get better.
Many prayers.

You are very welcome. Without friends and aquaintances our lives would not be enriched with so much.
Today with all of the changes that our societies have gone through and the mixture of change, I am proud of the fact that now I can make friends and share not only here but at other sites. I have gained some very close friends and aquaintances through the internet. Yes, there are many bad things out there on the web just like in the real world, but there are many good things that are out there as well.
If we can all get along and all help each other with our many changes of life, this world would be a much stronger place for all of us to live and grow in.
You and I seem to have a similar passion. I saw the nick name you chose "antique" am I correct, you like antiques?

I am glad that your grandson Ryan is okay and that he will be going home. That is a truly marvelous occasion to celebrate. Children's bodies are resilient and they adapt better to stressful situations like surgery. I wish for his speedy recovery as well.
