i think the news is tottally lie and unbeliveable. Barca and Madrid never think to buy Rooney. Believe me , Madrid and Barca prefer to buy Aguerro, Forlan or David Villa than Rooney. second, Rooney more love MU than think to leave Premiere League and i think Management MU never allowed Rooney go to another club.

I doubt these rumors. Ronaldo was understandable ever since his wink over Rooney's send off. But Rooney leaving Man U is unthinkable and I think it would be bad both for the player and the club. I do not think Rooney's muscular bustling play would be much liked in Spain where the game is more about artistry. Cheers! Ram

It will be very stupid for Rooney to leave Man Utd now for Real Madrid. Now is his best time in United to show off his skills and abilities now that Ronaldo is gone. Manchester United's title chance will most probably fall on him. This season will be a great experience for him to develop, that's for sure. Going to Real Madrid leaves too much uncertainty, and no doubt he won't go for that deal.

As far as I know Rooney is very faithful to Manchester United to which club he has served for so many years. He has also expressed his desire to surpass his teammate Ryan Giggs record for playing maximum number of matches for Manchester United. But seeing a big budget team of Real Madrid, its arch rival Barcelona has also eagers to create better team. So they are planning to bid for Wayne Rooney at $85M, $5M more than Cristiano Ronaldo's world record transfer fee so far. On the other hand, Ronaldo has told Rooney that the perfect and ideal environment is available in Real Madrid for the best footballers. One should attempt to play and serve for Real. Manchester United are already suffering for selling Ronaldo as they couldn't find perfect replacement for him as no other positive goalgetter can help Rooney and Berbatov as much as Ronaldo could. It has also been heard that there are huge amount of loan of Manchester. Selling Ronaldo couldn't adjusted the loan so to make up Manchester can sell Rooney too. I think SIr Alex will surely give up coaching as soon as Man Utd will sell Rooney because there are no other footballer in his team who can single handly change the fate of the match from any situation like Rooney and Ronaldo. Lets see what happens in the next transfer season in the month of January.

As far as I can remember, Rooney expressed his wish to stay with Manchester United, the rest of his career like Giggs, when Ronaldo was being negotiated with. So, I do not think he will change his mind so soon. We can only hope for the best, but I guess Sir Alex is planning for the worse.
