Ok so my friend and a re are fighting about this is it Michael Jackson or Elvis Presly?? Or someone else??

If the question is who changed rock more I have to go with Elvis, he made it more acceptable in many ways to alot of people and he came first. I was a kid when Elvis was on the old Ed Sullivan show and they wouldn't show him from the waist down because they thought he was too suggestive. All of the movies Elvis did, make the music something that crossed all kinds of lines. My vote goes to him.

I feel like he did have more on an influence than anyone else. He was the first one to really try anything different in my opinion.

Hello. No question about it at all. Elvis Presley is the "King of Rock". His music and his songs started a new era in music, and cherished the entire world of music. There were other highly reputed singers about the same time, or just a few years after Elvis who were key figures of the era.

Thats a good point! I wonder what artist/band would be the best over all person? I bet a lot of people would say the Beatles
