problem is on your internet speed, streaming is using 3.5mbps download for high detail and online games is defend on the game. If your internet provider cannot handle those thing then probably your browser will be crash.

Have you tried scanning for viruses/malware/spyware? These things could screw up your pc's performance. I think you should do that regularly, and make sure that your anti-virus is updated.

Online? Well try some step below. 1) Try to use another computer to play online game using the same connection as your computer do (in other words, plug the modem you used for computer into another computer and test it!). If the result is the same, then high probabilities that the problem is on your network, not your computer. Try to check on speedtest.net or similar site to check your speed. 2) If the test on another computer running well, then it means something wrong with your PC. Either your PC really don't support the game, hardware compatibilities, virus, spyware, etc. The easiest way (I think, LoL :p) is to reformat your computer. That way you don't need such defrag, cleaner, etc. But if you don't want to reformat, try to scan it with latest antivirus and antispyware. Then use HiJackThis program to see if any suspicious program is running. Hope the best for you! Regards.

First of all, did you restart after performing those tasks? Sometimes if you don't the memory doesn't clear and the computer thinks the tasks haven't been performed. Also clear your browser cache and history. Delete any broken or unused bookmarks. disable any unnneeded or what not start-up programs. Check your internet connection. If you have a router or some way to reset your connection settings, do so. It'll help speed things up. Close any programs you aren't using that you won't need. That should resolve the issue.

Streaming, Online games? I think the problem is not with your system, the problem is with your network connection. Are you using a good broadband connection? The network speed must favor your frame rate of the game. If your game requires a lot of graphics, and the network connections is of less bandwidth, then online gaming or streaming may be slow. If you feel this works with some streaming sites, but during some this is very slow. I want you to understand the fact that the speed of the streaming is also dependent on the server of the site, and content. So I presume you have problems only with online gaming and streaming, and you have to get a better network connection with higher bandwidth.

ryan, You may want to check just what is your internet broadband speed as a start. You may want to check if you have a shared connection at home, that might have been leeched. If you are having a reasonably fast access plan, then you may want to check on your hardware configurations of your personal computer i.e. Operating System (OS), Random Access Memory (RAM) and Graphics Accelerator Card. Nowadays, these games are due to their designs are ever requiring gamers to have the latest technologically enhanced hardwares to handle the intensity of the graphics in the games. The video streaming part may be a little more technical and could also be due to a number of factors named above. Yet, it could also mean that your software program issues where backdated or exploitation being one aspect and conflicting issues being another. For this, there's no telling lest you go into every application to check if they are up to date with all the latest fixes, patches and updates. Then, there's another aspect where you will need to check if your system is being infected by viruses, bots or spyware. When was the last time you performed an update with your security software and ran a scan. As for conflict issues, you will just have to do your homework by checking with your game forums, BBS, FAQs and helpdesk to resolve whatever issues which you might still have after resolving your PCs basic required issues. Hope you will find this helpful.
