That delicious Boston Brown Bread..............Yummy!!

I used to get this delicious Boston Brown Bread by S and H I believe was the brand. It was so good! It was in a big can and you would open both end, push the bread loave out and cut it in slices. It is so good heated with butter on it. It is a brown bread with molasses and raisins in it. I haven't seen it this year or for several years past. It is usually out around Thanksgiving. Do you know of it? Do you know of a recipe? Do you know a company that makes it where you can send for it?

It really is. I found it! Across from soups and such. S and H brand. Red and blue can. It is delicious warmed with butter on it. Hope you find it and enjoy it as I do!

Hi, celticeagle. This reminds me so much of Boston Creme Pie when I hear of this name. I have never had this before. Maybe you can do an Internet search for the company that may distribute this product. And they may also have retailers that you can purchase this bread from. I am sure that you can find many recipes that make this over the Internet.

that sounds very good. you are obviously going to have to do a search. i;ve done a search this morning for 2 dishes that i've recently tried and came up with many,many websites about them. with not only recipes but also where to order them. im going to do a discussion about them as soon as i get some of my newest one responded to.
