I went to the market this late afternoon and bought some veggies, fishes and fruits. I saw a basket of green mangoes, then i was attracted at them my mouth was watering( there i was buying a kilo and half of those green mangoes since i cant resist myself, i am already salivating. I just wonder if anybody could answer, whats with the green mangoes? I know some people and my friends reacts this way. How about you? Can you resist and stop your mouth watering?? Imagine yourself that you have some green mangoes on your table with a tasty "ginamos or bago-ong"?!

I like eating mangoes too! I like green mangoes too! I love its crunchiness and sour taste. Aside from "bagoong" I put salt and crushed chili on my freshly peeled green mangoes. I sometimes crave for it! it's been a long time that I have not tasted this yummy fruit.

hello doniep, I really miss eating green mango, every time i go to the market i would spot that very attractive and very yummy green mango. but the price is too high but we do have a mango tree at our back yard and my mom had been putting smokes into the tree so that it could generate flowers to fruits, she does this every day and she seemed successful

You are right green mangoes are very expensive at this time. Since, it is not yet mango season, so you can barely see it on the market. However, it is nice to know that you have your own mango tree on the backyard..thanks for your comment..

Oh my! I love eating green mangoes. There have been so many memoies of my childhood in green mangoes. Every summer in Batangas when I was a kid, we used to climb mango trees and pick the fruits and eat it on treetops. I love dipping it in chili bagoong, sometimes toyo with chili, and sometimes just plain salt. I guess green mango is my favorite fruit.
