windows Vista was plagued with problems from the start. I'm still using XP. Is anyone using 7? How is it? I haven't heard a peep about it, good or ill.

Hi, I was using windows xp. One of my friend was using windows 7. It looks very easy to use and user friendly. But i heard some problems about it. It was not fast as xp. For me, windows xp is better than 7.

I have all 3 computers here running 7. One of them has only 512mb ram & runns wonderfully with that. Even though it recomends 1gig as a min. My laptop has 3gig ram & it runs like a dream. It's far better then vista (that one is not worth the price of the paper that covers it) and it's more stable than XP. Well worth the upgrade if you can afford it (I got mine all for free) and easy for people who have no clue how to run an OS.

My boyfriend is using Windows 7. He says is pretty OK, a lot better than Vista. He hasn't had any problems with it. Though he hasn't mentioned anything if is better than XP or not. I'm probably gonna transfer to Windows 7 as well and see how it performs.

Win 7 is pretty good. all OS come with bug, XP did, Vita also... why not Windows 7? So bugs yes, you will have them there is no exception. I do however am very happy with Windows 7. It is faster it does not hang and has very good graphics. nothing to do with Vista. I recommend you try it out for yourself.

as with any operating system there are always flaws etc etc, thats wh they bring updates out and patches. I have my laptop on vista and my home pc on windows 7, not much of a difference to be honest there are good points and not so good points. Its all down to personal choice personally I prefer vista but a lot of people prefer windows 7

I am using Windows 7. I haven't explored it completely but it seems to be a pretty good OS. We got a new computer as our's went kapoot, and Windows 7 was on it. Our computer is an HP and it has a nice monitor with built in speakers. It's really a fun computer.

I have used Windows 7 for a few weeks now, and I can tell you its great. It runs perfectly on a 1.6Ghz, 1Gb RAM, 100Gb HDD, and shared VRAM where Vista wouldn't even install.
