So does anyone worry about saving the planet Persoannly In don't think the world needs saving it was here long before we were and will be here long after we are gone. That is not to say we shouldn't clean up the environment because we should, the cleaner our ecosystem the longer we will be around. At least that is my take on it, what do my fellow my lotters think

The bible doesn't conclude anything substantial about the end of the world. What about people who don't believe in your bible? Are they immune to the end of the world as you see it? The bible was written by men. How do men know when the world is going to end? I wish Jesus was here right now because he would probablly be an activist trying to help us practically with issues affecting us globally. Then he could finally take a look at the final draft of the good word and set everything straight as to what his message really meant at the time instead of the misinterpreted garbage that is in there now.

The Mayan calender says the end of the world is in 2012. You know what if we get hit by a big enough asteroid it's not going to matter how well we've taken care of anything. But in lieu of that I worry about water and the availability of it being clean. I worry that we are going to run out of clean water. It could happen. Polluted air in combination with direct dumping of waste into clean water sources are rapidly depleting the amount we all need to survive. We are polluting it faster then we have the ability to clean it. Faster then we are able to develop the technology to reverse the effects of it's pollution. Do I think a big whole in the ozone from greenhouse gasses is going to be the end of us all? No, no I don't. That's just media fear mongering.
