Do you consider yourself frugal? What do you do to save money? I use coupons all the time. I have found that it saves you a lot of money if you do it right! I also make sure that all the lights are turned out in rooms nobody is in. I try to do all my errands at the same time so I don't use excess gas. These are just a few examples. Do you do anything to save money?

Personally, the family where I belong has influenced me a lot on how to spend money wisely and well. From my grandmother who started owning 2-door-apartment and now she has 30-door-apartment. Because of her own hardwork and wise money approach that she has done in her married life. Isn't it amazing and fantastic? As I pursue and look for more fond activities in life. It is really a good point of view if I would do the same thing. Invest your future and learn how to save money most especially to your relatives who have experienced impecuonisity and how they struggled to upgrade their lives. The more you save your earnings the more your future becomes secure. To everyone think productively. Don't buy stuff that may not be a necessity or just a mere want. Spend your money on your health more often and you will find a quality living.

I'm also frugal as much as I can I save money. I save water and electricity right now that the weather is cold I'm not using electric fan. To save electricity I wash our clothes by hand.

Yes, I am frugal. I don't live luxuriously. I try to save as much money as I can for the future. I think that it is good for us to save enough for us in case we should need some money for emergency.

I have certain things I do to save money. I am sometimes frugal and sometimes just normal it kind of depends on what is going on in my life. I am usually pretty frugal in January and February and sometimes March because I want to make sure I have everything we bought at Christmas time paid off by March. So I am usually really careful about spending in those months which around here is not hard because it is snowy and cold out anyways so going shopping or anything like that does not sound appealing to me anyways. I never fully dry my clothes, I always hang them up after about 15 minutes. I hang them on our stair rails. I never us all the recommended amount of detergent when I wash them either. Also when a bottle of detergent is empty I fill it with water and shake really well to get one more load out of it.

Yeah. I am frugal. I even used to be a miser before. I was out of job at that time. I've changed from a miser to a frugal man since I tided over that difficult time. I should to be frugal to save energy to respond the call of environmental protection, not only to save money. But I will not do anything to save money now. I should do anything legal and moral to earn money, as much as possible, as soon as possible.

i am frugal out of necessity. i shop at discount type stores like kmart, walmart and target. i food shop at aldi which is very inexpensive. i do all the bookkeeping for my husband's small business so we do not have to pay someone else to do it and on and on. my life would be so much easier if we had more money but this is my life and frugality is a part of it.

I wish I could though. Tried numerous attempts to save up but then when I reached certain amount especially if its big, I find something that I spend it with. It always goes up to the point that I need to use it than wanting to use it. Anyways, I'm still trying my best to become more frugal about things. However, right now, I just consider myself not so frugal.

I like to watch how I spend my money and when it comes to the utility bills I try my best to keep them down. I always unplug my applicances when not in use. I shut down my computer completely when not in use. I also use coupons most of the time. I was clothes only twice a week and I brought the frontload type to save on energy and water. I also have the special lightbulbs in every room of my house to save on energy. Also if no one is in the room the lights are out. I actually watch TV in the dark.

I'd consider myself frugal. I've found the best way to save money is by not spending it, LOL! That sounds flippant but when you sit down and work out "where the money goes" you find a lot of it often disappears on fripperies rather than necessities. There are parts of the budget we have very little control over (taxes, fixed bills etc) and others where we do have some or total control. I have to have food but I can work on frugal food and spend half of what many people do. I buy basics, bulk buy things that are storable and we use when they are on offer, use up leftovers, avoid snacks and "nothing" beverages (the kind that are just sugar and fizz) etc. We make sure no appliance is on when no one is using it and carefully plan those uses. I dry clothes on a line or a rack rather than using the dryer. Use the slow cooker (crockpot) as much as possible rather than the oven because it is cheaper to run - slow cooking also allows me to use cheaper cuts of meat. I also use a pressure cooker because it quickly cooks things and uses a lot less fuel. We walk for a lot of errands and limit our car use at home. We keep the heating off until it NEEDS to go on and if it doesn't need to go on put on another warm layer of clothing or snuggle up under a blanket - the clothes and blanket are already paid for unlike the gas and electricity! We don't buy anything we don't need and will try to find alternatives and look second hand first before we spend any real money. Often we will say "wait three days and see what turns up" and it often does or you decide you don't need it anyway.

I think I'm frugal in some ways but overall, I'm not that frugal. I usually don't spend so much on anything. I try to save and not spend too much to begin with. When I buy, I try to look out for deals, but I don't dig deep into trying to find coupons; I usually use coupons and discounts when I already know of some, so I don't really go out looking for them unless I'm determined to save on something that may cost a lot. I definitely want to work on saving more money when I go shopping so I'm trying to work on being more frugal. Another way I try to be more frugal is, like you, I turn off the lights that are not being used by anyone and only leave the ones that are being used, on. I think the most frugal thing I do though, is to not spend so much in the first place, which means less purchasing of new clothes and other items that I don't really need; those extra things that just make you extra happy but don't need that also make you extra broke ^-^

yea being frugals important. but being cheap is stupid. get what you want but do it right and keep your necessities in mind. at the same time dont look like a doof not spendng at all. for example, you hugnry but you dont want t pay alot. instead of buying soemthign disgustign off teh dollar menu get soemthing to cook from the supermarket, itll be healthy and last u longer
