There are many ways to maintain eyebrows. I would like to know how women do this. Do you pluck, wax, shave or have a permanent tattoo? Why do you prefer one way from the other? Please share your thoughts. Thanks.

i pluck my eyebrow especially those unwanted hairs and i have nothing to pluck anymore as my eyebrow is so thin that it need thickness now days. i never shave as it says it only makes the hairs to grow rapidly which i do not like to happen to me. i never tattoo as my eyebrow is arched naturally shape with no need for an eyebrow to be sharpen.

Hi, neelia. I am smiling as I read your comments. It is because that is what is happening to myself, too. I pluck my eyebrows and enjoy doing it to the point of overdoing it, lo. My eyebrows are thinning not because of anything but because I sometimes just enjoy plucking, lol, that is why the need for an eyebrow pencil. I don't like to shave too. It makes the regrowth too stiff and only thickens the brow strand. Thanks for sharing.

When i was younger, i use to pluck my eyebrows but i stopped because i don't have time anymore. One time, a beautician went to our office and she offered eyebrow shaping by plucking with the use of a thread. All of us in the office tried and i find it painful though i was happy with the result. If i have to shape my eyebrow again, i will do it myself. I don't trust the beauticians in the parlors, they tend to pluck so much eyebrows that only a thin line remain.

Hi, triplejazzm. So that is how threading is done? I have never tried any other way except plucking my eyebrows. I pluck my eyebrows myself to my desired shape. It is no longer painful because I am used to it already. Yes, some beauticians tend to do it their own way to our surprise when we see the result, lol. Thanks, triplejazzm. Have a nice day!

I leave my eyebrows alone, although I used to pluck a few strays when I was younger. My daughter and her teenage daughters go to the beauty shop and have a procedure called threading done. I have no idea how this works, even though I've watched it done from across the room.

Hi, bellis. I also don't have any idea how threading works. I have never had anything done on my eyebrows in the beauty parlors/salons. I had been plucking my eyebrows and the regrowth ever since. Sometimes, I overdid this and this has thinned my eyebrows. Funny what I do now... I still use eyebrow pencil to darken my brows or thicken it a bit, hahaha.

I have my eyebrows threaded in a waxing parlor.I prefer having it done by a pro because I don't know how to shape my eyebrows.it is much better having it done by a pro rather than me because it will be a disaster once I do it myself.I would rather have someone do it for me so it will be shaped well.

Hi, Coco. That is really a good idea. Professionals are experts in their field. It is better to have it done by them rather than being sorry. I had them pluck my eyebrows the first time and I learned how to do it on my own. I still have to know how threading is done and maybe see how it is to experience my eyebrows done that way. Have a nice day!

I have to say I am better of with waxing it but when I have no time to go to the mall then I just shave it at home. I do not put on make up everyday nor do I make sure my eyebrows are perfect everyday. I am simple thus I hardly maintain my eyebrows but it still looks nice even if I only do it every 3 weeks or so.

Well, my eyebrows are not always perfect everyday. On bad days, I have one eyebrow slightly curved than the other. At times, the left eyebrow is thicker or longer than the other. I had to use eyebrow pencil everyday because I need to thicken my eyebrows. It is nice to know how you do to shape your eyebrows. Thanks for sharing. Have a nice day.

I pluck my eyebrows regularly so I can maintain it's desired shape. I can bear the pain. :) I am afraid to try tattoo or shaving.

Hi, arystine. Like you, I also pluck my eyebrows. It has been so many years that I am doing it. I don't feel the pain anymore because I am used to it. I have never tried waxing, tattoo, shaving or threading before. To lessen the pain, spread facial cream or lotion on your eyebrows before plucking. That was what I did in the early years that I plucked my eyebrows.
