We just beat the Pens 3-2!!!! It's our first road win and my boys played GREAT!!!! I'm so excited!!!! Can u tell?

Manny was in goal and he was great!! We put Michael Leighton on waivers yesterday so if he clears the Canes management will have to make a decision who is going down to AHL and who stays as the backup goalie. Cam is a maybe for Wednesday. Brasso said that it is day-to-day. They will evaluate him today in practice.

Haha! Look out (hockey) world! The canes are finally turning a corner. And what a statement it was! Winning against the reigning champs. Now they just need to run the table to maybe make it to the final 8?! The sports recap is on TV now, let me see how the Kings-Flames game went.

Both of my teams won last night!! If we can beat Jersey I will possibly think that we have turned the corner. Our AHL kids on defense played great last night. Brind'Amour was a healthy scratch. Kind of bad when your captain is a scratch. Everybody here thinks he should just give the "C" to Staal. I think this will happen next year. Like Modano, he turns 40 this year. Might be time to hang up the skates.
